As a child, Dion would routinely sit with his Great-Grandmother (Elizabeth Young, July 1894-January 2003) while she prepared sermons during quiet contemplation. Although she was an ordained minister, Elizabeth, of Native American heritage, exhibited shamanistic traits. Her grace in the face of suffering set forth his present day intentions. Elizabeth young outlived all eight of her children.
