For as long as Sancha can remember, she has always wanted to have a positive impact on her surroundings and those in it. This desire is what ultimately led her to train with Teach First and gain her PGDE in teaching. However, Sancha knows first-hand that education alone is not enough to give every individual the opportunity to succeed. Despite wonderful academic support, the thing that truly changed the direction of Sancha’s life for the better was discovering mindfulness meditation practices in her late teens. Seeing the impact of these practices over nearly a decade gave her the desire to qualify as a mindfulness teacher so that she could share these powerful tools with the children in her classroom and beyond. Sancha teaches online and in person and is always keen to chat over a cup of tea about anything mindfulness or education related.
