Today we're going to find some mindful awareness to prepare the mind.

So begin by bringing your awareness to any sounds that you notice,

Either inside or outside the room.

Take your awareness to one sound and let your awareness rest on that sound.

As you notice other sounds,

Move your awareness to the next one,

And the next one.

Continue like this until you feel like sounds are washing over you.

No judgment about the sounds that you hear,

Just bringing mindful awareness to the experience of listening.

Now bring your awareness to your physical body.

Notice where your attention is drawn to first.

Are you aware of some discomfort in the body?

Are you conscious of the temperature of the room?

Maybe you notice sensations in the body like tingling or numbness.

Perhaps different parts of the body feel cooler or warmer.

Just allow your awareness to scan over the body,

Noticing anything that you feel and allowing it to be exactly as it is.

So now bring your awareness to the breath.

Become aware of how the breath feels flowing in and out of your body.

Notice the temperature of the breath.

Become aware of all the different aspects of breathing.

Now bring your awareness to your thoughts.

Observe the thoughts as though from a distance,

Watching the thoughts as they come and they go.

And if you become aware of the mind being busy,

Just allow that to be exactly as it is.

So now take your awareness to any emotions that you're feeling.

You might be aware of one or two stronger emotions or maybe there's a mix of feelings or perhaps you're not sure what you're feeling at all.

Just allow emotions to rise and fall in their own time.

So lastly bring your awareness to all things you are experiencing.

Every single sensation that you are aware of and just allow yourself to experience being in your body.

The experience of breathing,

The thoughts and feelings that are present.

When we bring mindful awareness to this moment,

We allow things to be exactly as they are.

Nothing needs to change.

Everything is okay just as it is in this moment.

Allow yourself to be as light as the air that surrounds you and as you sink into deep relaxation,

You don't need to do anything or worry about anything in this moment.

So you you you you you you you you you you
