Chakra Lights

A meditation to clear, re-energise, realign and balance your main chakra centres, providing healing for your body, mind, emotions and spirit. Estelle combines rich visualisation and sensitive poetry to take you on a journey within your body and beyond.

Transcript

Chakras are centers of energy,

Charged by the universal life force energy in the form of light.

There are seven main chakras,

Aligned along the spine,

From the crown of the head to the base of the spine.

Each chakra vibrates at a different rate,

And relates to a different color of the spectrum.

To picture a chakra in the body,

Imagine a swirling wheel of light.

The positions of the chakras correspond to the endocrine glands,

Which control our hormone balance,

Which affects our moods and emotions.

If our chakras are in harmony,

Our body is in harmony.

Through meditation,

We can open,

Realign,

Rebalance,

And re-energize our chakras.

So,

If you haven't already,

Take a moment or two to settle.

Sink down into the surface supporting you.

Give yourself permission to take this time for yourself.

Feel your eyelids become heavier and heavier,

And let them close.

Slowly scan your body for signs of tension.

Focus on any areas that may be tense.

Breathe deeply into them,

And slowly breathe out.

See them dissolve into nothing.

Relax.

Let your muscles become loose.

Relax.

Let your body become heavier.

Relax and start to drift.

Picture in your mind a point of light far above you.

Imagine a beam of this light traveling down from its source as pure white light,

And entering through the crown of your head,

And continuing down through your body,

Through that space between your eyes,

Your throat,

Your heart,

Your solar plexus,

Just below your navel,

And through the base of your spine,

Traveling down deep into the earth beneath you.

Feel the cool free expansiveness of heaven and the warm strong supportive energy of earth flow through you,

Connecting you to heaven and earth.

Now follow the beam of light back up from the earth until your attention rests at the base of your spine.

This is the center of your base chakra.

Here the light separates into red.

See it,

And feel it spread out,

Out,

Out into your skeletal system,

The base of your spine,

Your rectum,

Your legs,

Your feet,

And your immune system.

Sink into the redness.

Feel it flowing into every cell,

A strong warm energy,

Clearing,

Healing,

Revitalizing,

Connecting your body to the physical plane,

The strength of your foundation,

Grounding you,

Bringing you health,

Prosperity,

Security,

And dynamic presence.

Relax deeper and deeper into the red light,

And listen.

Let the words of Mother Earth flow through you.

On solid rock and shifting sand,

Walk hand in hand upon the land.

Feel the rhythm in your feet.

Listen to her gentle beat.

Let the murmur from her core soothe you,

Love you forever more.

She will sustain you,

Ground you,

And continue.

Move back now through the red light to the base of your spine,

And follow the beam of white light up to a point just below your navel,

To the center of your sacral chakra.

Watch the rays of light here separate into orange.

This is the center of your emotional identity,

Your sexuality and creativity.

Focus on the orange light and see it spread out,

A warm fluid energy spreading out into your hips,

Your pelvis,

Your appendix,

Your bladder,

Your sexual organs,

Your large intestine,

And your lumbar vertebrae.

Clearing,

Healing,

Revitalizing.

It's rhythmic dance bringing fluidity and grace,

The depth of feeling and the ability to accept change.

Feel it connecting you to others through feelings of desire,

Sensation,

And movement.

Sink deeper,

Deeper,

And deeper into the orange light,

Into the magic of the dance.

Relax and listen.

Consider what it is that you desire as the words float through you.

Come with me.

Run with me.

Sail with the tide.

Friend and lover side by side.

Reach with me.

Feel with me this heavenly ride.

Leave yourself bare,

There's nothing to hide.

Go with me.

Flow with me rivers of light,

Spirit and grace into the night.

Soar with me,

Swell with me,

Power and might.

Take all before you,

But keep me in sight,

Your desire.

Dance in your sea of orange light.

Feel the energy in its powerful currents.

And move back now,

Back to the center of your sacral chakra.

Return to the beam of white light,

And follow it up to your solar plexus,

There beneath your rib cage,

To the center of your personal identity,

Your willpower and emotions,

Your ego,

The center of your personality and self-esteem.

Here the white light separates into rays of yellow,

A beautiful gold and warm sunny light.

Focus on the yellow light as it spreads out,

Out into your abdomen,

Your stomach,

Upper intestines,

Your kidneys and liver,

Your gallbladder,

Your pancreas,

Your adrenal glands,

Your spleen and middle spine,

Clearing,

Healing,

Revitalizing,

Bringing energy,

Effectiveness,

Spontaneity and non-dominating power,

Sinking into the yellow.

Relax,

Deep into the golden yellow light.

Sink deeper and deeper,

The gold all through you,

Deep into its latent power.

Let go.

It's time to find the real you.

Relax and listen.

Let the words float through you.

Become ego-free.

I look in the mirror and what do I see?

The eyes of my soul looking back at me,

A glimpse of the truth behind a mask that I show to the world with every task.

If I look closely,

What will I find?

The purest of hearts,

An enlightened mind,

An unshackled soul that knows the truth,

A spirit of joy with eternal youth.

So shine the light from deep within and break these chains.

Let me begin to find the strength to set me free,

To see the true essential me.

And now it's time to return to the center of your soul,

The plexus chakra,

And re-enter the beam of white light,

Following it up,

Up to your heart chakra,

And back to the center of your soul.

Up to your heart chakra,

Where the cool and warm energies of heaven and earth meet.

Feel the incredible sense of love as the green rays separate from the white light and spread out,

Out into your heart,

Your circulatory system,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your diaphragm,

Your ribs,

Your breast,

And endocrine system.

Feel your heart opening and expanding as the green light clears,

Heals,

And revitalizes,

Allowing you to forgive,

To love deeply,

And feel compassion,

To have a deep sense of peace and centeredness.

Allow yourself to sink deeper and deeper into the warm,

Protective,

Peaceful arms of the green light.

Allow the words to wash through you,

Through every cell in your body,

As you find love.

Beneath the skin,

Go deep within.

Listen to your heart.

A gentle beat will write the score,

Ignite the key that opens the door,

Take you to a place of peace,

Of joy,

Compassion,

And infinite ease.

This silent space right at the core will hold you,

Wrapped forevermore in unconditional love.

Take some time to enjoy this space.

It's time now to return to the center of your heart chakra and the beam of white light.

Bring the love with you as you follow the white beam up.

Up through the center of your heart chakra and the beam of white light.

As you follow the white beam up,

Up to your throat chakra,

Where the light separates into the cooler rays of blue.

Feel the light expanding out,

Soothing,

Calming,

Clearing,

Healing,

Revitalizing,

Expanding out into your throat,

Your mouth,

Your teeth,

Your gums,

Your esophagus,

Your thyroid,

Trachea,

Neck,

And hypothalamus.

Strengthening your creative identity and your ability to communicate.

Softening your personal expression and judgment of others.

Allowing you to experience the world symbolically.

Move deeper and deeper into the blue currents of space.

There,

Watch your thoughts dance and flow.

Listen and watch your thoughts.

They dance through the spaces of my mind,

Like stars in a midnight sky.

They elude me,

Confuse me,

Amaze me,

Amuse me.

They shatter me,

Delight me,

Surprise me,

And fight me.

They control me,

Evolve me,

Inform me,

Dissolve me,

And peace is hard to find.

Take care,

Beware,

Suppress some,

Express some,

Words in time,

Songs in rhyme,

Hopes and fears,

Joys and tears.

Caress with love for others' ears.

Dance and flow with your thoughts for a while,

Without judgment.

It's time now to leave the flowing power of the blue light and return to the center of your throat chakra,

Into the beam of white light.

Feel a dance within you as you move upward,

Into that space between your eyes,

To the center of your third eye chakra,

Where the light separates into a deep indigo,

The color of the night sky,

Your spiritual center.

There is a subtle increase in depth of power within the space as the indigo light expands and spreads out,

Out into your brain,

Your nervous system,

Your eyes and ears and nose,

Your pituitary gland,

Your nervous system,

And your pineal gland,

Into the space within every cell.

Allow yourself to sink into the support and comfort of the indigo space as your third eye opens and expands,

Allowing you to see clearly,

Physically,

And intuitively,

Opening your psychic faculties,

And expanding your mind intuition and wisdom.

Let yourself float in the space in the indigo light as you listen to the words INSIGHT,

INSIGHT.

Through the eye,

Through the eye,

What do I spy?

A moment of a magic when truth is revealed,

And innermost thoughts that once were concealed present a new wisdom,

An enlightened mind,

A connection beyond what's yours and what's mine.

Bring with you an increased awareness now,

An expanded understanding,

As you leave the deep power of the indigo light back to the center of your third eye chakra,

And return to the beam of white light.

Follow the beam to the energy center at the top of your head,

The crown chakra.

Here the light separates into beautiful violet rays.

There is a lightness,

A brightness,

A gentleness,

A freshness as the violet rays spread,

Spread into your muscular system,

Skeletal system,

And skin.

As all tension dissolves,

Your muscles,

Bones,

And skin become part of the light.

You no longer feel them.

You are floating.

You are floating light,

Bringing you knowledge,

Understanding,

Spiritual connection,

And happiness,

Connecting you to your universal identity,

Your higher destiny,

And karma.

Your consciousness becomes pure awareness.

You are connected to the all-knowing.

As you float,

Listen to your words of consciousness.

I am conscious.

All boundaries dissolve.

I am weightless,

Fearless,

Expanding in space.

I am silent,

Endless,

A timeless place.

I am darkness,

Lightness,

Reflecting your face.

I am wisdom,

Compassion,

Eternal grace.

I am free,

Enlightened,

In your embrace.

From this place now,

This space of consciousness,

As the chakras are refreshed and spin in harmony,

As your body,

Emotions,

And mind are revitalized,

Notice how the chakra colors within you start to merge,

To blend.

The violet,

The indigo,

The blue,

The green,

The yellow,

The orange,

And the red into white light.

Your whole body,

Every cell and the spaces within and without,

Is filled with white light.

Your whole body connected via that powerful beam of light to heaven and earth.

Rest in the light for a while,

And let it weave its magic.

Gently now,

Bring your awareness back to your body.

Feel the white light that fuels your body contract back into the beam of white light,

Passing through your chakras,

Connecting heaven to earth.

Follow the beam of light as it returns to its distant source.

Know that the source is always there,

And that you can access it any time that your energy centers are low or out of balance.

Slowly bring your attention back to your body,

In this time and place,

Much lighter,

Brighter,

Calmer,

And wiser,

Re-energized.

And when you're ready,

Stretch and open your eyes.

Welcome back.
