Arriving into the present moment.
No yesterday,
No tomorrow,
No today.
Just right now in this present moment.
Taking a moment to notice your body and its sensations,
The beating of your heart,
The rising and falling of your stomach.
Arriving right here,
Right now,
In this present moment.
Placing our attention on the breath.
On the inhale,
Noticing the way the cool air rushes in through our nostrils,
Down our throats and into our lungs.
And on the exhale,
Following the breath as it leaves.
With every in-breath,
We welcome stillness and every out-breath,
Releasing tension.
Taking three breaths together,
Slowly and deeply inhaling and taking your time on the exhale,
Letting it all go.
Noticing what it's like to notice,
What it feels like to be here in this moment.
Maybe resistance comes,
The mind wanders,
The internal chatter gets louder.
Returning to the breath,
Slowly and deeply inhaling and taking your time on the exhale,
Letting it all go.
No judgment,
No shame,
Just right now.
There's no place you need to be,
Only here in this present moment.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am present.
Returning back to the room,
We become present to our bodies and our breath,
Becoming present to sounds and sensations.
Feeling movement back into our limbs,
Noticing the fingers and the feet,
Taking a little stretch and when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
