Hey friends and welcome to this practice this practice of peace inner stillness calm and presence And how we create presence is built in the everyday moment to moment Creating momentum Momentum of being and not doing And then we are doing We are aware of the being that is necessary to be authentically doing what it is that we need to do on this earth And it begins by being present present to the moments present to our feelings Present to our thoughts and our words that internal dialogue And so I invite you to practice presence with me So closing our eyes or keeping them open to a soft gaze Whatever feels right for you in this moment and only if it's safe to You can be lying down or sitting upright Just allowing your body and mind to find comfort and stillness and rest in this moment in time Softening your eyebrows unclenching your jaw And allowing your shoulders to melt away from your ears Taking a moment here to notice where else you may be holding on to any tension or tightness in your body Scanning your body from head to toe And using the breath to soften And need love and presence into every bone every fiber every cell every muscle every tissue in your body Until softness becomes you And then we are able to be present present to the moments present to our feelings And you can be breathing every tissue in your body Until softness becomes you And you are soft and here and now And you are able to be present present to every tissue in your body Noticing your breath and how you're breathing And on the inhale receiving a breath in through the nose down your throat into your lungs expanding the belly And on the out breath letting it all go through your mouth And on the out breath letting it all go through your mouth repeating and receiving this breath Each time each breath drawing us closer to ourselves To ourselves Breathing in I am here Breathing out I have arrived And again breathing in I am here Breathing out I am present Present in this moment knowing that nothing else matters right now except for you and your breath And your breathing Breathing as if the only thing that you have to do today is just to breathe in and to breathe out Just to breathe in and to breathe out Treating every breath as if it was sacred Breathing with intention and breathing with purpose The purpose of coming back home to yourself Receiving a breath in through the nose And letting it all go through the mouth Continuing to breathe and continuing to be here in this moment right now This moment in time And if your mind begins to wander that's totally okay just bringing it back home to the present moment Noticing your heart beating the rising and falling of your chest Noticing any other sensations that may be present in your body What do your arms feel like?

What do your hands feel like?

What does it feel like to be breathing into your stomach?

What does your left leg feel like?

And what does your right leg feel like?

And what does your right leg feel like?

What do you feel like?

As the breath moves in and out of your body Your body responding to the breath,

To the life,

To the energy,

The force within you How does it feel to be the creator of your own peace and stillness?

You are more powerful than you think And all it takes is presence And together taking a deep inhale in through the nose And letting it all go through the mouth And letting it all go through the mouth And as this practice comes to an end Becoming present back into our bodies,

Back to our breath,

Back to our surroundings Noticing any sounds or sensations that may be present Inviting movement back into your hands and into your toes And whenever it feels right for you,

On your own time Slowly and gently opening your eyes And thanking yourself for being in practice Thank you for watching!

Love the interplay of the drums and the voice. Listened as with a performance piece, therefore the words stood out for me. Less emphasis on breathing and more on the experience of being present.
