What If It All Works Out

With Teresa McLean

Hope can feel complicated — especially if you’ve been disappointed, let down, or asked to “stay positive” when life felt uncertain. This course is not about forcing optimism or pretending everything will be okay. What If It All Works Out is a gentle, nervous-system-aware course designed to help you reconnect with hope and possibility in a way that feels safe, grounded, and honest. Across seven deeply supportive lessons, you’ll explore how to: - rebuild hope after disappointment - release the pressure to believe or be optimistic - let hope and fear coexist without canceling each other out - rest inside uncertainty instead of bracing against it - allow good moments to land without waiting for the catch - trust direction without knowing the destination - meet the future with steadiness rather than vigilance This course doesn’t promise outcomes. It helps you build inner stability, so you can meet whatever unfolds with more ease, self-trust, and openness. Hope, here, is not loud or performative. It’s quiet, resilient, and embodied. You don’t have to know how things will work out. You’re simply invited to explore what happens when you stop assuming they won’t.

Lesson 3

Letting Hope And Fear Coexist

Hope and fear are often treated as opposites, but they frequently arise together in response to uncertainty. In this lesson, you’ll explore how allowing hope and fear to coexist creates more stability than trying to eliminate either one. This approach supports honesty, nervous-system regulation, and grounded openness to the future.

Lesson 4

Resting Inside Uncertainty

Uncertainty often keeps the nervous system in a state of constant bracing. In this lesson, you’ll explore how to rest inside uncertainty without needing answers or resolution. I feel this course was not well aligned to me. It seemed author was framing people’s nature primarily at a fixed or rigid mindset. I feel I tend more towards growth mindset. And my professional and spiritual interests do focus on progress without certainty or rigid fix point for solutions. I also noticed that the question at end of each day was more a cognitive question of only one right answer in choices rather than a reflective question on feelings or responses like done in so many other courses.

This course was really meaningful to me. Every single day was concentrated and packed with really important life lessons. I have to re-listen again and again, but I thank you so much for what you shared with us all.

The timing of day 7 with today feels intentional. I’ve ‘braced’ my entire life, unconscious of it, it was baseline until life collapsed 5 years ago. I was bracing my legs when you mentioned the brace vs being open. In that moment it shifted. My openess is being challenges HARD right now, and your sharing gives me a clearer perspective on ‘bracing’ in ALL areas of life. Be well 🙏

The Meditation class has been a quiet awakening as I step into a new chapter of my life. It has taught me to sit peacefully with the unknown—to embrace the truth that I have no evidence of what the future holds, Instead of holding tightly to certainty, I am learning to loosen my grip, trust the unfolding, and surrender to the wisdom of the present moment. There is a profound freedom in accepting that life does not always reveal the path before we walk it.

Really good reframing language to jumpstart one’s openheartedness and open mindedness for hope, uncertainty, curiousity, and possibility. Highly recommend! 🙏

If at first the ideas seems simplistic, keep listening. There’s building blocks for a subtle shift in understanding that releases anxiety and frees moving forward from rumination

Amazing. I’m so open to the possibilities in my life, and it’s an overall reminder to be present in the moment while letting emotions come and go - and stabilizing oneself through an ease of acceptance. I will do this class again as a reminder in the future as well.
