Please come into a comfortable seat,
Letting your eyes come to close if that's comfortable for you.
And take a transitional breath here,
Just breathing in deeply,
Letting yourself receive and feel that breath coming in.
And maybe even sighing out and allowing yourself to just begin letting go.
And repeating that twice more.
Taking a nice complete breath in.
As you breathe out,
Let yourself arrive right here in the present moment.
One more time,
Breathe in deeply.
And exhale,
Softening.
And then just observe yourself.
And notice what catches your attention.
You might become aware of tension in your jaw.
Maybe there's an ache in your gut.
Maybe all you can feel in this moment is an emotion that you've been churning all day long.
Whatever you discover in this moment,
As you begin to tune into yourself,
Is welcome.
Who you are in this moment is 100% allowed.
So embracing whatever you discover,
Embracing who you are right here,
Right now,
With love,
With compassion,
With curiosity.
And then focusing in specifically on your breath,
And just tweak your breath ever so slightly.
Allow your inhales to become just a little bit longer,
And allow your exhales to become a little bit longer.
This can be very,
Very subtle,
Just a small tweak to the pace and the rhythm of your breath.
Stay with your breath just a little bit longer,
Easing your inhalations and your exhalations into a bit of a longer rhythm.
And then now that you're just a little bit more centered,
A little bit more present in this moment,
Through regulating the breath.
Shift your attention once more back to your body.
And again,
Just notice what stands out in this moment.
And then decide on one sensation,
One place in the body that you would like to focus on today.
And this might be a tense muscle.
It could be an area of your body that feels shut down or numb.
It could be an old injury,
It could be a part of your body that feels good,
Feels healthy today,
But you're just drawn to it.
And if you're able to reach this part of your body easily,
Take one hand or both hands over this area.
And as you hold this part of your body,
Notice the breath flowing through this area.
And through your awareness or even through your words,
Let this part of your body know that you love it.
Let this part of your body know that you honor it.
And let this part of your body know that you are tuning in,
That you want to listen to whatever it may have to say to you today.
And then listening first to sensations.
As you hold this part of your body,
What sensations are you noticing in this area?
And see if you can describe them.
And then notice if there's a buzz of energy in this area.
And sometimes this energetic buzz feels very much like physical sensation.
But just see if you can tune in to the energetic level,
What kind of energy lives here.
Give it in a few words.
Take a breath in and out.
And now see if there is any emotion living in this part of your body.
Maybe you can name the emotion that you feel here.
And then lastly,
Allow this part of your body to speak its truth.
What does this part of you have to say today?
Take a breath in and take a breath out.
Thank your body for sharing with you.
And then releasing your hands away from that part of your body and just let your hands come to rest comfortably.
Feel your whole body breathing in and breathing out.
Tune back into your breath.
Gently tweaking the breath,
Allowing your inhalations and your exhalations to become just a tad bit longer.
Feel yourself integrating the information that you received today.
And feel your whole self becoming aligned with truth,
With this moment,
Aligning with the earth and aligning with the path forward for you,
The path that will serve in your highest good.
There is so much wisdom here for you right here in this moment within your own body,
Your own heart,
Your own spirit.
Take another deep breath in through the nose.
Maybe just sighing out through an open mouth.
