In this meditation, Erin guides you to find trust and faith that may be buried so deep you forget that it is within you. By reconnecting with that space of peace and universe within, we can start to shed what we are not. We can choose to let go of doubt and fear and find peace and trust that we can handle what comes up. When we learn to trust again, we walk with more lightness and less need to control others or ourselves in any unhealthy ways. Namaste.

Is thriving after addiction where I teach you how to heal yourself from the inside out hello and welcome to your meditation on finding faith and trust again take a comfortable seat and start to breathe release the grippings of the outside world and deep breaths in and out through your nose in a long slow steady stream when we're able to lengthen and slow down the breath we find stillness and with that stillness we can look deep down inside of the pond and see its depths and that's what we need for the work we're going to do today so breathe and with each inhale imagine gathering up any surface level anxiety and as you exhale just as if you were blowing the little prongs of a dandelion out into the world releasing from the stem of the flower and floating away from you you start to feel a little bit more dropped into your body and you start to hear a little bit more the subtle vibrations the pulsing the subtle vibrations the pulsing the wisdom of your body and if you're seated just notice the feeling of your body in a chair your sit bones your lower back pressing against the chair if you're walking just notice the feeling of your skin on your clothes if you're breathing in a deep breath you can feel the air in your lungs notice any fluctuations in your environment you don't have to get pulled and dragged around by those outside forces but just notice and use that as a way to drop deeper into yourself by feeling your body's tension notice any areas of the body that are tighter clenching and see if with your inhale you can draw deeply down into those areas that are tight and soften almost as if you were taking your hand and petting a cat trying to soothe petting away any anxiety and again as you exhale exhale you let go of little remnants of any tightness of any accumulated stress in the tissues as you breathe and find quietness in your mind and in your body as you breathe you start to notice sensations you start to feel the river of energy pulsing just below the surface of the skin as if you were adjusting the knobs to tune in to a radio station and then you finally found the perfect frequency to listen and once you find that frequency you don't have to analyze it when we've been used to listening to the station of the mind and how loud it can be and how it can dart in different directions we become used to that and so the subtleties of the frequency of the body become a bit foreign to us but as you continue to breathe and soften and breathe melting into the feeling of cashmere that silky softness within that comfort that soothing you start to feel a little less anxious and a little bit more open and relaxed to receive love to start to feel like maybe you're connected even just a little bit so now breathe and scan the body for any areas of clenching or tension maybe around the shoulders anticipating or bracing maybe around the lower back holding on to shame or guilt maybe around the stomach thinking that we're less than it is simply stuck energy and you don't have to choose it anymore we want to breathe turn around go into it and soften when we accept it and allow it to spread the old recordings of trauma and of fear start to play out in the body and the body starts to feel the same way the memories of trauma and of fear start to play out and then dissolve they just need to be expressed within the body trust that your temple can handle it trust that you are loved you've got this and everything is going to be okay and any figures of the past that have supported you they are still supporting you and you can breathe and you know that they are in your corner and that the universe loves you and supports you so much and wants you to work through these things that are blocking you not trusting in these sensations is like not trusting in God they are one and the same God speaks through us so breathe soften allow and know that you've always had this ability to tap in it's always been there but sometimes we hold on to pain and we try to resist any experience that might bring more this is simply a way to protect ourselves and so we forgive we forgive so forgive allow and trust trust that you are strong trust that you are supported trust that you are loved so much and any fear that comes up trust that you can choose to stay in your temple and just because it's uncomfortable doesn't mean anything's gone wrong trust that you can stay and when you stay you allow a chance for yourself to process the emotions that have been stuck stay stay present within you adopt the role of the mother for yourself the nurturing the kindness you can choose to adopt that role now breathe so much love so much love so much trust trusting that you can allow yourself to grow and that at times it might be uncomfortable and that sometimes we might be fearful of trusting others and just know that that's expected that'll happen but we pull back inward we always go inward we come present and within a few breaths we start to remember that we can do this that we are loved breathe and feel the relief of being able to trust your inner voice to trust guidance find stillness and calm and how the channel volume starts to grow and to be able to trust your inner voice to trust guidance find stillness and calm and how the channel volume starts to turn up when we choose to go inward and again it will happen over and over that we will forget because that is the condition of being human it doesn't mean that anything's gone wrong the practice is to keep coming back and then trying to stay in that space of presence at the yoga nushasana yoga is presence presence is yoga finding the union the connection the laughter the love remember that you can handle it trust yourself and when uncomfortable feelings come up try to come up trust that these things are working through you and you can handle it you are strong you are loved breathe and keep shedding off any doubts of the past any fear and melting into the softness of love within you Namaste
