You can rest easy this evening,
Knowing that you took part in this meditation that will prepare you for a wonderful night's sleep.
Sleep is one of the most important things that we can give ourselves.
With good sleep comes a good mindset the next day,
And with that in mind we are going to be taking part in this meditation.
That will totally relax you and help your mind enter the theta and gamma stages of brainwaves,
Which will prepare you for great dreams,
Inspiration the next day,
And hopeful thinking for the rest of the week.
I'd like you to begin by finding a comfortable position in your bed,
Where you can lie down and just get used to your environment for sleeping.
Once you have done this,
Please close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
I'd like you to imagine yourself walking along the side of a river.
It's a very small river just flowing beside you.
You can see the reflection of the stars from above you in the river itself.
This brings almost like a tingling sensation down your back because it looks so beautiful.
You can also see the reflection of the moon above you.
It's a three-quarter moon and you can actually make out the craters on the moon itself above you.
You can really make out the finite details on the moon right now,
And you think to yourself how wonderful it is that man has stepped on the moon itself.
That thought gives you hope for the future for mankind.
We can overcome anything.
You can overcome any challenge in your life.
That's the power of every human being.
This thought gives you a sense of peace and liberates you slightly because it makes you realize that you were born to achieve.
Whatever dreams,
Whatever ambitions you have for the future,
You know as long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other towards them,
They will become a reality.
It's a beautiful evening and you can hear the sound of the river and the sound of the moon.
It's a beautiful evening and you can hear the sound of the river flowing beside you gently.
You're walking along a slightly muddy pathway and there's a woodlands beside you,
And you can see that the breeze is slowly moving the branches on the trees.
So it's creating like a gentle whooshing noise where the branches are rubbing against one another.
The leaves are being blown.
You think to yourself how old some of these trees are,
Some of them thousands of years old,
And they have lasted the test of time.
And you realize that you are just as sturdy as these trees in this moment.
You have found wisdom,
You have found relaxation,
You have found a moment of clarity.
You are totally grounded in this moment,
Just like the trees around you.
You continue walking along the pathway.
You continue walking along the pathway.
Once again you take a look up,
This time looking at each individual star one by one.
Some of them are totally yellow,
But as you focus on these stars,
You notice that some of them are red,
Some of them have a hint of blue and a hint of purple.
And you think how vast the universe truly is.
We are all right now on a celestial object floating through space,
Bound by gravity to the sun.
This sun is bound by gravity of the Milky Way galaxy,
Where there are billions of other suns,
Billions of other suns,
Some like our own,
Some bigger,
Some smaller,
Many with planets of their very own,
Some potentially even harboring life.
The vastness of the universe is so beautiful,
And you sit here in contemplation for a minute by the river,
Looking up at the stars,
Feeling totally inspired.
You step up and continue walking along the pathway.
As you do so,
You look to the left and notice that there is like a picnic blanket laid out for you in the middle of an open field.
You lie on this picnic blanket,
And as you do so,
You have a perfect view of the sky above you once again.
This time,
You just breathe and witness the stars.
You don't contemplate,
You simply appreciate their beauty.
The longer you look at these wonderful celestial bodies,
The more and more you begin to feel tired.
The more and more you begin to feel your body slowing down,
Preparing for a wonderful night's sleep.
You are totally at peace in this moment.
All there is,
Is you and the stars above you.
For a moment,
You pay attention to the sensation of the wind against your skin.
It's very subtle,
And it almost makes your hair stand on end in a really relaxing way.
You once again feel a sensation down your spine and throughout your body.
And this is just a total moment of utter peace.
You decide to open your eyes and become aware of the room around you again,
And you feel elated after this wonderful visualization.
Your body feels prepared for a wonderful sleep,
And you are ready to wake up with a mindset of hope and inspiration.
