The importance of water.

Water is the closest thing there is to a miracle cure for obesity.

So how does it promote weight loss?

First,

Water suppresses appetite naturally and it helps the body metabolize stored fat.

Some research has indicated that an increase in water intake can actually help reduce fat deposits.

Second,

Drinking enough water usually eliminates fluid retention.

This is because when the body gets too little water,

It perceives this as a threat to survival.

It then begins to hold on to every drop.

Only by drinking plenty of water will stored water be released.

Third,

Water helps to maintain proper muscle tone by giving muscles their natural ability to contract and by preventing dehydration.

Fourth,

It also helps prevent the sagging skin that usually follows weight loss by booing shrinking cells.

This plumps the skin and leaves it clear,

Healthy and resilient.

Fifth,

Water helps rid the body of waste and during weight loss the body has more waste to get rid of.

All the metabolized fat must be shed.

Sixth,

Water can help relieve constipation.

When the body gets too little water,

It siphons what it needs from intestinal sources.

But when you drink enough water,

Normal bowel function returns.

The body uses 8 to 10 8 ounce glasses of water per day just to function.

So drinking an adequate amount of water is not just important for weight loss.

It is also important for overall good health.

It is important to know that it is necessary to drink an additional one glass,

8 ounces,

For each 25 pounds you are overweight.

So,

Drink at least 64 ounces of water each day plus the number of additional 8 ounces you need.

This will help you get on your way toward being thin and healthy.
