
Grounding Meditation

Enjoy this essential meditation technique of grounding. It’s unbelievable to me, even after decades of Buddhist study, that I didn’t know what grounding was, how to do it, or how deeply powerful it was until a few years ago. Now, when I sit meditation, I always start by setting my grounding cord and grounding down and off any negativity. In this meditation, I will lead you to connect to the earth, anchoring yourself to the core of the earth. You will release negativity and tension into Mother Earth for her to process, recycle, and compost. Even though we may feel comfortable in a cloud of doubt, shame, worry, or guilt, there is no benefit to our bodies or spirits to continue to be in those energetic states. Combined with the Earth Energy meditation, you can create a two-way grounding connection. The earth takes away energy that is out of harmony with who you are and you receive energy from the earth that is nurturing and protective.
