Welcome to this Valentine's Day meditation focused on self love.

Find a comfortable seated position,

Allowing your spine to be straight but not rigid.

Gently close your eyes and begin to bring awareness to your breath.

Take a deep inhale through your nose,

Feeling the air fill your lungs and exhale slowly through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension or stress.

Continue to breathe deeply and fully,

Allowing your breath to anchor you to the present moment.

As you breathe,

Bring your attention to your heart center,

The place within you that holds love and compassion.

Feel the warmth and energy radiating from this space,

Surrounding you in the cocoon of self love.

With each breath,

Imagine this love expanding within you,

Filling every cell of your being with warmth and acceptance.

Allow yourself to bask in this feeling of unconditional love,

Knowing that you are worthy and deserving of it.

Now bring to mind something about yourself that you appreciate or admire.

It could be a quality,

A talent,

Or simply the way you show up for yourself every day.

Hold this aspect of yourself in your awareness and let it fill you with pride and gratitude.

Now,

Think of a time when you showed yourself kindness or compassion.

It could be something as simple as giving yourself a moment of rest or offering yourself words of encouragement.

Reflect on how it felt to extend this kindness to yourself and allow that feeling to wash over you once again.

As you continue to breathe,

Repeat the following affirmation silently to yourself.

I am worthy of love and affection.

I deserve to treat myself with kindness and compassion.

I am enough just as I am.

Feel these words resonate within you,

Affirming your worthiness and inherent value.

Now slowly bring your awareness back to your breath,

Feeling the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes and carry this feeling of self-love and compassion with you throughout the rest of your day.

Remember,

You are a precious being deserving of love,

Especially from yourself.
