Sometimes,
It's hard to get stressful or traumatizing thoughts out of your mind,
So this next exercise is a fantastic tool to use not only to separate yourself from those thoughts that are dragging you down,
But also to take a step further and lock them away so they can no longer hurt you.
We'll begin by finding a comfortable position,
Closing your eyes and connecting with your breath,
Inhaling and feeling your belly rise,
Exhaling,
Pulling the belly in.
Now inhaling and squeezing and tensing your shoulders,
Exhale and release it all.
And inhale,
Squeezing and tensing,
Even making fists and baring your teeth.
Now exhale fully,
Releasing it all.
Good.
One more time.
Inhaling and squeezing,
Tensing up,
Making fists,
Making a face,
Even growling if you need to.
And exhale,
Releasing all of your muscles and releasing the tension.
Staying with your breath.
Begin to notice what negative,
Stressful or traumatizing thoughts are currently running through your mind.
Now imagine that your guardian angel is standing above you and using a vacuum hose to suck those thoughts out of your head and into a heavy duty metal lockbox.
Every thought that brings you stress or pain to flow freely through the hose and into that lockbox,
Taking as much time as you need to get them all out.
Noticing your body feeling lighter as you relax your muscles more and more as the harmful toxic thoughts leave your body.
Once you feel that you have completed the task,
Ask your guardian angel to seal that lockbox with divine love and take it deep into the earth,
Casting it into the molten lava where it will be melted down and destroyed so that the contents of the box can no longer harm you or anyone else.
Again,
Feeling the sense of relief and peace coming over your body now that you do not have to carry the weight of those harmful thoughts any longer into your body,
Turning the corners of your mouth up into a smile.
You are now free of that burden.
