This is a guided meditation for finding ease and joy in your pregnancy.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down,

Somewhere quiet and supportive for your body.

As you allow your body to settle,

Allowing your spine to lengthen,

Allow your shoulders to soften away from your ears.

Let your hands rest gently wherever they fall,

Or you may want to place one hand on your heart and one hand on your growing belly,

Connecting you with the rhythm of breath and the tiny miracle of life growing within you.

Now let's take a slow deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling the air expanding in your chest,

Maybe even in your belly,

And exhale softly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension in your body.

Continue the slow deep breath,

Steady,

Calm and full as you inhale,

Allowing each exhale to bring a sense of grounding and peace.

As you continue with each inhale,

Imagine drawing in light and warmth.

With each exhale,

Imagine releasing any discomfort,

Worry or resistance.

Your body is wise,

Capable and beautifully attuned to this process of creation.

You may wish to repeat this to yourself,

My body is wise,

Capable and beautifully attuned to this process of creation happening inside of me.

Deep breath in,

Sigh it out,

Bring your awareness to the sensations within.

Notice the gentle movements,

The subtle shifts,

The newness of this experience of being pregnant.

Each change is a sign of growth and a reminder of the miracle unfolding.

Allow gratitude to rise for your body's strength,

Its adaptability and its deep intelligence.

Now visualize a soft golden light surrounding your body,

Wrapping you in comfort and ease.

This light flows through every curve,

Every muscle,

Every cell in your body.

It soothes the aches in your back,

Hips,

Legs and anywhere else in your body craving more ease.

This soft golden light whispers gentle reassurance,

All is well,

Permission to relax.

Your body knows exactly what to do in each moment.

Take a deep breath in,

Sigh it out in relief.

Now turn your attention inward towards your sweet growing baby.

Feel the quiet connection,

The shared rhythm of breath and heartbeat.

Imagine sending love and joy through that connection,

An unspoken promise of protection,

Acceptance,

Warmth,

Love.

Now feel that love returning to you as a gentle echo of trust and peace.

As your mind drifts,

Let thoughts of expectation or comparison fade away.

There is no perfect way to be pregnant,

Only this unique sacred journey that you are on.

Each moment,

Each sensation is part of the story of becoming a mother.

Now take a few more deep,

Slow breaths,

Allowing your body to feel the ease of being supported.

With each breath in,

Invite even more ease,

More acceptance,

More joy.

As you exhale,

Remember that your body is not changing against you,

It is changing for you,

Creating space for the miracle of new life,

And that's a beautiful gift.

So perhaps send some gratitude inward towards your body for all that it is doing for you as you bask in these moments of ease.

Allowing that sense of ease to spread into every cell of your body.

Now start to deepen your breath.

Remind yourself that these moments of ease are here for you when you need them.

When you're ready,

You can slowly,

Gently begin to bring your awareness back to the room you are in,

Back to the present moment.

You can wiggle your fingers and toes.

You can take some gentle stretches if that feels good to your body.

Bring your hands to your belly,

Bringing in that beautiful knowingness that all is going perfectly according to life's plan.

Carry the sense of calm and gratitude forward,

Knowing that within every breath there is strength and softness and joy.
