At some point,

You may feel like you're drowning in negative energy.

Here's an active meditation and visualization to help rid yourself of that negativity.

Let's begin by sitting up tall in a comfortable chair,

Feeling your feet flat on the floor.

Take a deep breath in and haaaaaaah.

Exhaling out any tension you may be holding,

Any anxieties,

Any to-do lists,

And anything that might take your focus away from being right here,

Right now,

In this moment.

And inhale again,

This time tensing the muscles,

Making a face,

Making fists,

Squeezing the shoulders,

And haaaaaaah.

Exhale,

Releasing it all.

And again,

Inhale,

Tensing the muscles,

Making a face,

Making your fists,

Squeezing the shoulders,

And haaaaaaah.

Exhale,

Releasing it all.

One more time,

Inhale,

Tensing the muscles,

Making a face,

Making your fists,

Squeezing the shoulders,

And haaaaaaah.

Exhale,

Releasing it all.

Now begin stomping your feet,

Continuing the breath,

Haaaaaaah.

Exhaling out all the gunky energy,

All the thoughts,

Feelings,

And emotions,

And shaking your hands as if you're throwing it all onto the ground.

Throwing it all out of your mother earth to absorb and transform that negative energy into light.

Keep going,

We're going to have a full minute to let it all out.

Stomping our feet,

Shaking our hands,

Exhaling,

Haaaaaah.

Sticking the tongue all the way out,

Let it all go,

Haaaaaah.

Last exhale,

Haaaaaah.

Bring yourself back into stillness,

Closing your eyes,

Taking a deep breath.

Deep breath.

Pat yourself on the back,

You did a great job.

You're not holding onto that gunky stuff anymore,

It's all being transformed into light.

Speaking of light,

You might notice that your body feels a little bit or significantly lighter right now.

Breathe into that spaciousness that you just created for yourself.

Yes,

Haaaaaah.

One positive quality would you like to bring into that spaciousness?

Joy,

Peace,

Love,

And hope are all good examples,

But I'll give you a moment to think of something that's just right for you.

Now wrap your arms around yourself and accept the gift you've just chosen to receive,

Feeling the energy of that gift showering down upon you and encircling your entire body.

Mmmmm,

Yummy,
