We all need time during each day where we check in with ourselves and get in touch with our truth.
Check in and make sure we're not bullshitting ourselves or even worse someone else.
Whether we are calm and composed,
Overwhelmed or out of line,
We all need to set time aside for ourselves every day to check in and remind ourselves of what's important.
You might be here today listening and meditating with me because you feel as though you are at least in some way in the way of yourself.
You want to be liberated from your own suffering.
You want to get out of the way of yourself so that you can express yourself fully and be heard.
In this meditation I'm going to show you how to connect with silence,
Your truth,
And allow your natural,
Unique,
True expression to be realized within.
So find a comfortable place for this meditation.
Do what you can to prevent distractions.
Be seated in your meditative posture and allow yourself to be comfortable.
Activate your abdomen and back to maintain a relaxed,
Upright spine.
Place your hands on your knees or in a mudra of your choosing.
Slightly tilt your head upwards and rest your gaze upon the space just ahead of you.
If you prefer,
Now is the time to gently close your eyes and mouth.
Let's start by deeply breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
Rest your attention on the breathing cycle.
It will be your anchor throughout this meditation.
Where your attention goes,
Energy flows.
The breath has the power to caress us.
Guide us inward and let us know where we truly are in any given moment or situation.

If you wish to find and harness the wisdom to end your suffering,
First thing is to just rest.
The goal is not to shut down,
But to be quiet.
Silently quiet.
Silence is the absence of you getting in the way of yourself.
Silence is where the ego cannot rule your world.
Silence is the language of love before we try to translate it with words.
There is boundless freedom and expression within the space of silence.
Breathe in,
Full of air.

Empty.

As you relinquish yourself of your input,
You start to engage with a source much greater than you or I or anything that you can think of.
Since we turn off the input,
We become available to an intelligence greater than everything that you can imagine.
We can drop in to this space.
Continue to make yourself available to life.

Feel the magic of being alive.

The very breath you give off is nutrients for the very life that supplies you oxygen.
Relaxing the mind can be as easy as just reminding yourself of a few simple things.
Things you can be thankful for.
A few things you may have forgotten you needed.
A few things you effortlessly work in a symbiotic nature with.
Putting your frame of mind into one that is open to gratitude.
What does your heart say when you are connected to gratitude?
Can you be thankful for your breath?
Can you be thankful for the clean air rich with oxygen?
Can you be thankful for your health for whatever state that it's in right now?
Can you be thankful for the sky,
The trees,
The roof over your head,
The birds?
Whatever you feel can connect you with gratitude in this moment.
Explore that.
Explore the feeling of this awareness.
Get more fuel in your life,
Free of yeast,
And go take responsibility for your Not this body,
Not your thoughts,
Not your emotions,
Not your problems is eternal.
This space of silence,
This dimension of life beyond the physical is eternal.
This is the safe space that you have cultivated for yourself to experience the divine,
The universe,
Consciousness,
Eternal presence.
This is the space that you have cultivated for yourself to experience the divine,

Silence will forever be there for you like the greatest friend,
Loyal and true and accepting.
Within the silence,
You find that you have the strength and courage to confront any obstacle in your path.
Within the silence,
You can peacefully learn how to unlock your mind to reach and go beyond your wildest dreams.
It starts with connecting to this space and cultivating an open and positive attitude to translate into your everyday activities.
Let the silence show you the way.

In bringing this meditation to a close,
Come back to a full awareness of the body.
Feel free to wiggle around,
Move a little bit,
Bring some gentle flow back into the body.
Gently take your own time and when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
See if you can take this quality of awareness with you into your day,
Into your life as it unfolds moment by moment.
