Hello and welcome to this RAIN healing meditation.
And I'm honored to be a part of your inner journey.
I want to thank you for your trust in allowing me to guide you towards your greater self.
This healing meditation will allow you to wash away stuck energy and invite renewal and healing.
You'll be invited to use the breath,
Visualization,
For healing through the power of RAIN.
Take a moment to find a comfortable position.
The way that you want to relax into this meditation is completely up to you.
You can sit,
Lay down,
Or stand.
You can decide.
There are no rules and there's only what works for you.
And while your unconscious mind knows a variety of ways to relax,
It's good to know that you don't need to relax or do anything at all for this process to have a profound impact.
You can simply just allow yourself to flow with the experience.
Take any adjustments that you may need so you can feel as comfortable as possible.
And then gently invite the eyelids to close,
The mind to settle,
And the body to relax.
Before we begin,
I'd like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which this meditation was created and will be practiced on around the world.
I call on the spirit ancestors to walk with us as we share and learn together.
I acknowledge that they have occupied and cared for this space over countless generations.
And I celebrate their continuing contribution to the life of this planet.
This quote is by Langston Hughes.
Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
Check in with the body,
Observing any sensations.
Checking in with the mind,
Each thought just a cloud floating away.
Check in with your emotions,
Simply noticing any impulsive reactions.
The breath is relaxed and natural,
Finding a comfortable rhythm and regulating it,
Noticing how it feels to be seated here in the present moment.
Take in a deep inhale,
And as you exhale,
Sigh the breath out of the mouth.
Allow the shoulders to drop a little bit more and sink into the position a little bit deeper for this practice.
Take in another deep inhale,
As you exhale,
Sigh the breath out of the mouth,
And feel free to accompany the exhale with the sound to help release.
Continue to take in long,
Deep breaths,
Breathing in through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh out the breath from the mouth and release.
Now extend your exhale by pulling the navel into the spine.
Release all the air from the body by totally pulling the navel into the spine,
Using those tummy muscles to really suck in and push everything out,
Breathing in deeply and exhaling fully.
Continue this for the next few moments.
Alright,
Now let your breath go.
Just come back to a natural rhythm of breath.
For the rest of this practice,
You can breathe in through the nose and then out through the nose,
Just allowing the natural rhythm of your breath to take place.
You don't have to interrupt or disturb the natural flow of your breath.
It's okay if your mind wanders,
You may start thinking about other things,
And if this happens,
It is not a problem,
It is not bad or wrong,
It's actually very natural.
But pause,
Noticing that your mind has wandered.
Relax into the sensation of being present again,
And gently come back to the next inhale and exhale.
I like to think of it as allowing your breath to be your best friend,
Letting your breath be your home base,
Letting your breath connect you with the presence in this very moment.
Everything is slowing down,
Enter this present moment.
As you continue breathing,
Visualize your body resting in your meditation posture.
As you continue breathing,
Visualize your body resting in your meditation posture,
And you're looking down at yourself.
You notice how relaxed and peaceful you look.
Everything about you feels clear and balanced.
You appear so calm that you can sense the boundaries of you and your surroundings,
Slowly disintegrating and becoming one.
You begin to notice the sound of rain arriving,
And an attractive blue aura begins to surround you.
A warm,
Light rain begins to grace the space that you're in,
And you can feel each little raindrop touching your skin,
Starting to cleanse you.
The water feels so good,
Knowing it's been magnificently collected,
Recycled,
And positively charged by the Earth's atmosphere.
It's relaxing all the bones,
Muscle tissue,
Skin,
And fluids of the body.
We are made up of over 70% water,
So water has a big impact on us.
Rain has healing powers.
It can wash away impurities and cleanse your energy.
The fresh water rain provides is essential to the survival of every living organism.
From plants to animals to humans,
Fresh water sources are depleted by the natural process of evaporation,
And rainy days replace that lost water.
You take a moment to charge your blue aura with gratitude for rainfall.
Any rain that comes into your aura is being charged with gratitude and love.
Notice a shining silver spiritually nourishing light approaching from above with the rain.
It descends slowly and softly.
The light can be seen within each drop of rain.
As it gently lands on the crown of your head,
It nourishes you at your core,
Attaching to any impurities,
Mental stress,
And emotional toxicity,
And then rolls off and away.
As you exhale,
Direct the water rolling down off your head,
Over your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Onto your lap and legs and feet,
And then off the body,
Cleansing and softening as it flows over you.
With the breath,
You're taking in all the freshness of the rainfall,
All the rejuvenating quality that it has,
And then upon the exhale,
You're directing anything that doesn't serve you to fall away and be recycled into the earth.
Breathing in,
Drawing water all the way up to the crown of your head,
Breathing out,
Softening and washing down over you.
The water is a fantastic clear blue color,
Calming and rejuvenating.
The inhale flows up,
Loosening and lengthening.
The exhale washes down,
Purifying and softening.
The inhale flows up,
Loosening and lengthening.
The exhale washes down,
Purifying and softening.
As you enjoy feeling and basking in this energy that is nourishing and cleansing and supporting you,
You might realize how loved and blessed you already are.
With all your imperfections,
You are seen as perfectly you,
Always capable of transformation.
In bringing this meditation to a close,
Come back to a full awareness of the body.
Gently take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and breathe out.
Take your own time and slowly opening the eyes once again.
I'd just like to end with another quote by Bob Marley.
Some people feel the rain,
Others just get wet.
Thank you for sharing your meditation practice with me.
Namaste.
Namaste.
