Welcome to your mirror visualization meditation with me,

Ellie Bosmorova.

If you're feeling stuck or stressed in your life,

This meditation is for you.

Go ahead now and get into your comfortable position in a quiet space where you won't be interrupted.

Either sitting or lying down is fine.

If you're sitting,

It can be on the floor,

A mat,

A comfortable chair,

The edge of your bed.

If you'd like,

You can flutter your eyes closed.

And just take a few deep breaths,

Imagining that with each breath,

You're just clearing the energy out of your body.

Clearing out any negative energy you might have picked up through your day,

Replacing it with a spacious,

Clean feeling energy.

Just take a few breaths like this until you can sense a difference,

That you feel more present.

And it's okay if your mind continues to wander,

Just gently bringing it back to the sound of my voice.

As we begin our practice today,

I'm going to guide you in a series of visualizations.

If you're not very visual,

That's okay.

Just see if you can bring them to life in another way.

Maybe it's through sound,

Through touch,

Color,

Taste.

If you can't clearly see specifics,

That's okay.

Just do your best and trust that the transformation,

The evolution,

The perspective shift that needs to take place,

Will.

Because you found this audio recording for a reason.

And now I want you to imagine someone really close to you,

Someone who is a relative,

Ideally a parent or a sibling.

Someone who you love dearly.

Just bring them to mind.

Imagine them standing to the left of you in front of you.

And of course you love this person so much.

You want to see them thrive,

Be happy.

What advice would you give this person?

If you could tell them the real honest truth.

If they really wanted your advice,

What would you tell them?

And can you imagine yourself saying it to them now?

Notice the expression on their face.

Notice any sensations or emotions that arise.

And just thank them for their presence and go ahead and allow them to stand there to your left and now shift your attention to the space in front of you in your mind's eye.

And I want you to think of someone you're in an intimate relationship with.

This could be romantic,

This could be a best friend.

Someone you love dearly who you're not related to by blood.

Someone who you want to support and encourage.

But maybe they're struggling with something.

Maybe they're not quite where they want to be.

And can you think,

What advice,

What words of wisdom would you give this person?

If they just knew this one thing,

It would change everything for them.

What would that be?

Imagine yourself saying it to them.

Notice what happens.

Allow them to step back,

Still in the center of your vision.

And just take a nice deep cleansing breath here.

Now shift your attention to the right side in front of you.

I want you to imagine someone you don't know very well.

You maybe see them at the grocery store.

You maybe see them on TV.

You feel a liking toward them.

You feel some kind of connection.

It could also be someone you don't know well but don't really like them.

So feeling a connection to them but not necessarily one that feels good.

Just notice this person.

And whoever comes up is perfect.

Part of our practice here is working with the subconscious mind,

The first impulsive answer.

By doing that we're integrating authentic real parts of you with your conscious mind.

So bringing to mind this person,

If this person knew one piece of information,

One piece of advice that you could give them,

What would that be?

That this would help them completely transform their lives.

Maybe become better people.

Maybe be happier.

Can you give this piece of advice to them?

Maybe telling them what they need to do or not do.

When you're ready,

Let this person just step back.

Notice how you feel.

Notice the three people in front of you now.

In your mind's eye.

To your left,

That person you're related to,

Who you love so much.

In the middle,

This person you're really close with.

And on the right,

This person you maybe don't know very well.

Taking another deep breath.

And as you exhale,

Notice these three people transforming into mirrors.

And instead of them,

You see reflections of yourself.

And that advice that you gave them.

Maybe it's really meant for you.

The advice you gave your relative.

Can you see how it applies to you?

From the deepest parts of your wisdom.

The advice you gave to that person so close to you.

Can you see how it applies to you?

How maybe it's meant for you.

How it'll help you be happier.

Move through areas in your life that aren't quite what you want them to be.

That person on your right,

Can you see how the advice you gave them applies to you?

That if only you would just do or not do that thing,

Your life would be better.

Take all the time you need to integrate what you've gained here.

Maybe even taking some time after this to journal,

Making sure to drink lots of water.

And take really,

Really good care of yourself.

This concludes our mirror visualization meditation,

Letting those images just fade as you return to your breathing.

As you return to the room you're in.

Coming back to your day a little bit more wholehearted.
