Go ahead and take a nice deep breath in through your nose and release.
And let's do that again deep breath in through the nose and exhale imagining all of the negative energy the feelings that are difficult right now leaving your body and on your next deep breath in just invite in a feeling of calm goodness of happiness and relaxation.
And whether you're sitting or lying down right now go ahead and take a big stretch just feeling what it's like to be in your body today and then go ahead and settle down letting your body become really still as still as possible it's okay to move around a little bit now we're going to put the focus on the body and help you just let go and relax so I want you to imagine a beautiful rainbow of light all the colors of the rainbow this rainbow of light is at the top of your head just floating there and as you breathe in imagine this rainbow of light starting to flow down your body surrounding you with that beautiful rainbow light first starting at the top of your head flowing down your face helping the muscles in your face let go and relax notice what it feels like to relax your face completely might even feel like your face is melting but don't worry it's not just relax all the muscles in the face and now all the muscles in the whole head that rainbow of light even relaxing your ears your neck the back of your head the back of your neck your throat go ahead and take another nice deep breath in and let that rainbow of light flow down your shoulders flowing across both your shoulders and down your arms all the way to your fingertips and now your arms are covered with that rainbow light and just relax the muscles in your arms and in your shoulders notice what it feels like to relax these parts of your body to let them just hang heavy be still and now let that rainbow light flow through your chest and your stomach helping your body relax and just let go that rainbow flowing even behind you the red orange yellow green blue purple flowing down your back and relaxing your whole back on your next deep inhale and exhale can you let that rainbow of light flow all the way down to your toes helping your hips relax your legs your knees your ankles see and feel that rainbow light flowing all the way down to your toes and now take a deep breath and feel that rainbow of light those beautiful colors maybe your favorite color is the brightest one just notice that light flowing through your whole body helping you feel calm and happy and relaxed great job this concludes your guided calming relaxation meditation for kids I'm Ellie Bosmarova I'm so proud of you and I can't wait to practice with you again soon
