Welcome to this 10 minute guided meditation for regulating your nervous system and bringing you to a state of calm.
Find a comfortable and quiet space where you won't be disturbed.
Close your eyes and let's begin.
Start by taking a deep cleansing breath,
Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
With each breath,
You release tension and welcome calmness.
You are safe here,
In this moment.
Allow yourself to feel the comforting presence of safety surrounding you.
You are supported and you are not alone.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Supporting your body.
You are grounded,
Anchored to the present moment.
Let the earth's stability reassure you.
Begin to relax your body,
Imagine a warm,
Soft wave of relaxation,
Starting from the top of your head and slowly flowing down through your body.
Feel the tension melting away.
Find a place within you where there is peace.
It may be your fingers,
Your chin,
Your hips,
A place that feels neutral.
This inner sanctuary is always available to you.
It's a place of serenity and tranquility.
As you breathe in,
Imagine you are inhaling peace,
Love and comfort and as you exhale,
Release any worries,
Fears or stress.
You are free to let go.
Go on.
Good.
Very good.
Breathe in and embrace yourself with kindness and love.
You deserve self-care and self-compassion.
Let those feelings fill your heart.
Stay present in this moment,
Perfect,
Good.
Imagine a soft,
Warm light surrounding you.
It's like a cosy blanket,
Comforting and safe.
Let its gentle embrace soothe you.
Trust in yourself and your ability to heal.
Take a moment to reflect on the things you are grateful for.
Gratitude can bring warmth to your heart.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
When you're ready,
Take two big breaths and slowly open your eyes.
Observe your surroundings for one minute.
Take your body from head to toe,
Good,
And return to the world,
Carrying this sense of peace and safety with you.
But before you go,
I want to leave you with a powerful practice.
Gratitude is a transformative force that can bring immense healing and positivity to your life.
I invite you to take a journal or a piece of paper and,
Every morning and evening,
Write down three things that you are grateful for in life,
Two people you are grateful to have in your life,
And finally,
One thing you have access to and love doing.
Start with these and add to your list every single day.
Write on your growing list of blessings and let gratitude guide you on your journey to inner peace.
Thank you,
My friend.
Take care.
Namaste.
