Begin by finding a comfortable,
Quiet place where you will not be disturbed.
Sit up straight or lie down gently.
Close your eyes and begin to relax.
As you breathe in and out,
Begin to release,
Relax,
And let go of negative energy.
With every breath in,
You breathe in calmness and light.
With every breath out,
You breathe out tension and negative energy.
Just notice what happens as you gently begin to invite any negative energy to release and let go from your body.
And to support you further in letting go of negative energy,
Call to mind the situation or person where you are feeling the most negative energy right now.
And just notice,
Is there any pain or tension in your body because of this?
Next,
Imagine taking your hands off of this person or situation and taking a step back into your own energy space.
And as you do this,
You withdraw any unhealthy attachments to this situation.
And as you take your hands off and take a step back,
Notice how your body feels now.
Now,
Go ahead and place your hands on your own heart center.
Begin to generate a feeling of love and appreciation within yourself.
It can be helpful here to call to mind someone or something that you love.
Notice how it makes you feel as you generate an abundance of love for yourself instead of focusing on this situation.
Also notice if the pain or tension has changed now that you are generating love and circulating it throughout your body.
Continue to pour love from your hands into your heart center and gently receive and circulate this loving appreciation.
Noticing how wonderful it feels to circulate love and appreciation throughout your body and mind.
Next,
Feeling full of love within yourself,
Look back at that situation or person that was causing negative energy and notice if there are any changes in the situation now that you are taking your hands off,
Backing up,
And focusing on yourself.
And as you focus back on yourself with your hands on your heart,
Ask your heart,
What would be helpful to focus on in myself instead of this negative energy?
With your hands on your heart and a smile on your face,
You gently move your body around,
Coming back to the center of your body.
Bringing with you the insight and guidance and positive vibes that you received during this meditation.
Open your eyes,
Coming fully back into the room now.
Aware and awake and ready to move on with a delightful day.
