Hi my friend,

It's time to step outside and be in nature,

Feel the earth beneath your feet and breathe yourself full again.

Take your sweet time putting on your shoes,

Maybe grabbing a coat,

Anything you need to support yourself during this walk.

Right away as you meet the fresh air,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Exhale out your mouth,

Looking up right away,

Noticing the sky above you,

Breathe in deeply,

Exhale and let it go,

Slowly walking,

Allowing yourself to take it one step at a time,

Letting your eyes wander and allow your breath to deepen,

Without any judgment we notice the world around us,

The weather outside of us.

Keep looking and observing,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Knowing that every step you take is uncertain and yet you are still moving forward,

And as you gently observe what is outside of you,

Slowly observe what is within you,

Without any judgment,

Breathing your way to the world within you,

Inhale deeply,

Exhale fully,

Walking to your heart,

Out of your mind,

Into your body and into your heart.

Notice what's within you,

The weather,

The textures,

The colors,

Come back to the awareness of your feet hitting the earth,

Maybe if you have headphones on,

Take one headphone out of your ear and listen to your feet,

Can you just be where your feet are,

Listen to the sound of you stepping one foot in front of the other,

Breathe in slowly,

Let it go,

If you'd like bringing the headphone back to your ear,

If it feels safe placing a hand or two over your heart and feel your heart beating,

Notice if your heart feels a little bit more open,

Notice the warmth,

Notice the lightness in your heart that you are creating one step at a time,

Breathe in deeply,

Let it go,

I know it might feel safer to close your heart and maybe the tendency is to look down as you walk,

As you inhale can you lift your chin,

Lift your gaze and as you exhale drop your shoulders,

Feel the heart pull open,

Expanding your heart center,

Releasing the hands down if you'd like,

My friend can you feel a little pep in your step,

Can you feel the peace and the joy starting to rise within you again,

Walking back to the version of you that is accepting,

Loving,

Kind,

Breathing in,

Exhaling and as you open your heart and you take one step at a time,

May you remember all parts of you are allowed to exist,

Every part of you makes you whole,

Feel this energy of acceptance,

Breathe deeply,

Sigh it out,

What a gift it is to be you,

To be here,

To move your body,

To drop into your heart,

To exist as you are,

Enjoy being with you,

Walking here,

Just you with you,

Lifting your chin,

Opening your heart a little more,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Corey Mascara writes joy is a byproduct of not resisting your inner world,

In order to feel joy,

To feel peace,

To feel free,

We must choose to not resist our inner world,

May you walk toward yourself every day and meet your heart and hold all parts of you,

Follow the breath in,

Let it go,

Maybe look up again at the sky above you,

Look around at the world supporting you,

The nature living around you and feel the earth beneath your feet,

You are held,

You are supported,

If you'd like on your next inhale,

Reach your arms out and up taking up space,

Exhale bring them down,

Maybe shaking out your hands a little bit,

Really recognizing that you are here,

You are alive,

This walking meditation is much more than just a walk,

It's a return to you,

It's a way to soothe your nervous system and soften,

Can you feel the shift,

Notice the you that is here,

The you that you've returned to,

Breathe in deeply,

Let it go,

May you continue to walk toward yourself,

To be in the quiet of your own mind and accept your entire inner world,

Take your sweet time getting back home safely,

Thank you for allowing me to guide you,

Let's take one more breath together,

Inhale,

Exhale,

From my heart to yours.
