Hi my friend Welcome yourself to this moment.
Land gently into your heart closing down the eyes softly Allow your hands to rest in your lap if that feels right.
Let yourself sink into this moment as you are.
Just notice the breath gently.
Without any desire to fix or change it.
Or less.
Notice how without even trying the inhale and the exhale come and go Let your breath remind you that you are here You are alive.
You are enough.
Give yourself a deep breath now.
Inhale through your nose.
Big exhale,
Sigh it out.
The breath fill you Inhale and then let it all go.
Exhale.
Feeling this coming and going.
Arriving and leaving of the breath.
You Inhale Exhale.
Every breath we take is subtly different Let the inhale open your heart and feel how the exhale invites you to release.
Breath is consistent but it's also fleeting arrives and then it leaves.
Just like grief it visits.
And it leaves.
And then it comes back.
And then it goes what does it feel like to hold grief in your heart?
What would it feel like to allow the presence of grief?
Grief can be so many complex feelings.
Physically losing someone or losing something that you expected.
Losing a version of you.
Wishing things were different.
Some sort of longing,
Some sort of void.
Grief is personal.
It only has to make sense to you.
My friend,
It makes sense It makes sense to feel how you feel.
And the hardest part about grief is that it won't necessarily go away Nothing can be changed in the past.
Only our perspective of it.
Only our capacity to hold grief.
And our ability to be more compassionate to ourselves.
Your friend.
You did the best you could my friend,
There's nothing wrong with you my friend you are worthy of love my friend you are here to live awake to live a beautiful life.
Even as grief walks alongside you Can you forgive yourself?
Can you be kind to yourself right now?
Maybe placing a hand or two over your heart.
Simply whisper I forgive you I love you.
Releasing any ache.
Letting go,
Wishing grief didn't steal so much of your joy you are human You are real.
Open your heart to these beautiful words by an unknown author.
One thing I know for certain is that life is unpredictable.
Sometimes beautiful things end.
Some days you wake up and your heart aches.
Sometimes you make mistakes.
Sometimes you choose to trust the wrong people.
But no matter how chaotic it gets,
You must choose to move forward every single day.
Releasing your grip on past mistakes and do not let regret live inside you Don't let situations replay over and over in your head.
Take a deep breath.
And make peace with everything in the past.
And keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Moving forward doesn't mean you are forgetting about your past,
It means that you are trusting in your future moving forward doesn't mean that you are letting everything go it means that you are no longer letting negative things consume you It's choosing to not put your life on hold because there is something better to hold on to.
It's leaving what you lost so that you can focus on what needs to be found moving forward to heal.
Moving forward to live moving forward because there is so much beauty lying ahead.
Breath in.
Oh.
Feel this relief of.
Letting go of the grief maybe it's not so much about.
Pushing it away,
It's about holding it.
And kissing it goodbye.
Just releasing it slowly and slowly.
Embracing everything within your heart.
And choosing to forgive yourself again and again.
And hold yourself.
As you move forward.
One breath at a time one moment at a time.
Notice how you feel now.
Maybe a little bit more space maybe a subtle shift in your energy feeling a little bit lighter simply a different perspective to sit with.
May you remember that this is a practice.
It's not about being perfect.
May you continue to improve this relationship you have with your grief,
With your heart and with yourself.
You're so worthy Breathe in slow Big exhale Go really slowly now aware of the ground beneath you and only when you're ready blinking your eyes open if they were closed looking around at your space.
I need a soft smile.
From my heart to yours.
