Notice if your mind is spiraling or distracted,
Give yourself compassion,
It's okay,
Begin to gently encourage the mind to rest in this moment,
The past is gone and the future can wait.
So often we wait for other people to tell us we are okay or that everything is going to work out,
So often we wait for the sign that all is okay,
That the light will return.
What if you don't have to wait,
What if you can tell yourself what you need to hear right now,
What would you whisper to yourself in this moment,
What is the encouragement that you need to hear,
What is an affirmation that your mind and your heart and your body are yearning to hear,
What is a gentle reminder that would really help you feel light and empowered,
What is something you need to hear that would bring you peace and if you haven't heard it yet or even if you have,
Tell yourself you're doing such a great job,
Tell yourself I see you,
I am proud of you,
I love you,
My friend you must be your own greatest supporter and often we have everything we need and everything we are looking for within,
Stop waiting,
Notice how it feels to be held by yourself,
To receive your own love,
Let it go,
Take the next minute to just sit with your heart and your mind and let any other messages that you need to hear come forward,
Only when you're ready finding some gentle movement,
Maybe a little sway or giving yourself a big warm hug,
Thanking yourself for showing up,
For being there for yourself,
You are never alone because you've got you always,
Big breath in,
Go slowly now,
Gently opening your eyes if they were closed,
Continue to be there for you and tell yourself what you need to hear,
