Hi,
Welcome back.
Or maybe welcome into your first time meditating with me.
Either way,
I'm so grateful you are here.
May you choose to be proud of yourself right now.
Don't wait for the end of the meditation to celebrate you for taking time to slow down.
This meditation is really a time for you to connect with your breath.
I will share a new breathing technique that I've recently discovered.
It's called 2 to 1 breathing,
Where you take two short inhales and then one big exhale out your mouth.
The inhales are through the nose,
The exhale is out your mouth.
So it'll be something like this.
So for now,
Just turn inward and then we'll work with the breath for a minute or so.
Close your eyes here if that feels okay.
Rest your hands in your lap.
Inhale as your heart opens.
Exhale,
Shoulders drop.
What a gift it is that you are here.
When was the last time you really acknowledged all the inner work that you do?
In so many ways,
You have healed your life,
Your heart,
Your mind,
Your body.
Breathe in slow.
Let it go.
Ah,
Just soften here.
Letting go of any expectations,
Any judgment.
What will you put behind the inhale?
What do you intend to take in?
What will you put behind the exhale?
What do you intend to let go of?
We'll take one more normal inhale and exhale.
Now begin.
Notice what is already happening,
What you are stirring up.
Know that you can always slow your breath down,
Trusting your body,
Your breath.
I'm going to get quiet so you can experience this for about 30 more seconds.
Take one normal inhale.
Big sigh.
Couple more,
Adding sound to the exhale.
Inhale.
One more.
Allow what is here.
Feel what is here.
You are safe.
Feel the feelings that are just asking to be felt.
And now completely surrender and settle.
Surrender and settle.
Becoming really aware of maybe a tingling sensation in your body.
Allow yourself to float,
To hover in this moment.
Your breath can be one of your greatest medicines.
Feel grateful for the inhale and the exhale.
Notice the shift within you,
The change in your energy.
Notice the shift in every cell in your body.
Allow yourself to just rest here in the quiet of your own mind.
Breathe in slow.
Exhale.
I am so amazed by you.
Maybe you tried something new today.
How incredible.
Remember that if you want to feel something different,
You have to do something different.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
From my heart to yours.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
From my heart to yours.
