What if when the mind is swirling, and you feel anxiety there isn't anything wrong with you? What if it is simply an invitation to slow down and breathe deeply? This meditation includes the repetition of an affirmation for you to rest your mind on.

Hi my friend,

You can relieve yourself of anxiety by returning to this moment and allowing this mantra to sink into your heart.

Our anxiety might never completely go away but we can feel relief and we can invite in peace and calm.

If you'd like,

Close your eyes and start to deepen your breath.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Breathe in.

Let it go.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale,

Release.

Anxiety pulls us into the future and or anxiety pulls us into the past,

Reliving,

Rethinking everything.

Pull yourself back into this moment.

Feel the stress and anxiety start to float away as you arrive right here.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

I am here and I am allowed to feel peace.

This is the only moment that matters.

I am here and I am allowed to feel peace.

This is the only moment that matters.

I am here and I am allowed to feel peace.

This is the only moment that matters.

I am here and I am allowed to feel peace.

This is the only moment that matters.

Breathe as you continue this mantra.

Inhale.

Continue to repeat this in the quiet of your own mind.

Let it soften and soothe you.

Release the mantra.

Whisper anything else you need to hear.

Notice the shift,

Maybe the subtle shift in your anxiety level.

Maybe there's a little bit more ease and calm,

A steadiness in your heart and mind.

May you continue to pull yourself back into the present moment because only this moment is your actual life.

Everything can wait and you can let go here.
