You can learn to relax whenever you desire.
Start by getting comfortable.
You are already on the way.
You will hear and know everything that is said.
The state that you are going to go into is the state you have been going into every night and every morning since you were born.
When you are ready to go to sleep but are not asleep.
When you are ready to wake up but are not awake.
That is the state you will go into.
So this is nothing new for you.
And when you are in that state you are highly suggestible.
And this is when I will give you all the positive suggestions that you want.
Focus on your breathing.
Every time you exhale imagine you are exhaling any stress,
Any worries,
Any negative emotional energies.
Just breathe them out.
And every time you inhale imagine you are inhaling calmness,
Confidence,
Positive emotional energies,
Filling yourself up with them.
And already you can feel yourself going deeper and deeper.
Now take in a deep breath and let it out slowly.
Now take another deep and comfortable breath and let that out too very slowly.
Take in another deep breath filling up your lungs and hold it.
And let that out too very slowly.
Already you can feel your body starting to relax.
Let that wonderful comfortable feeling of relaxation flow all the way down to the very tips of your toes.
Feeling your feet becoming very comfortable and very relaxed.
And if that doesn't happen right away don't worry it will catch up with you.
Now let that feeling of relaxation flow up into your ankles,
Up all the large and small muscles of your legs to your knees,
Up all the large and small muscles of your thighs and into your hips,
Into your abdomen,
Up all the large and small muscles of your back.
Into your chest,
Into your arms,
All the way down your arms to your elbows,
Your wrists,
Your hands.
Up into the shoulders and the neck,
Any tension around the shoulders and neck just melting away.
Let that relaxation flow up into your head,
Over your head,
Down into your face.
All the little muscles of the face relax.
Now as I count from one down to three,
With each count your body will go deeper and deeper into this wonderful relaxed state.
So one,
Deeper and deeper.
Two,
Ever more calm,
Ever more comfortable,
Ever more relaxed.
Three,
Very deep,
Very comfortable and very relaxed.
Now any sounds that you may hear will just fade into the background,
Nothing to bother you,
Nothing to disturb you.
Following my suggestions will guide you deeper,
The sound of my voice will guide you even deeper into this wonderful relaxed state.
Now again I will count and you already know that you will go even deeper and this time I will count from one down to five and this time you will let the muscles in your body double the relaxation they are already feeling.
One,
Your relaxation is starting to double.
Two,
Relaxation doubling more and more.
Three,
Very comfortable,
Very relaxed.
Four,
Your relaxation has almost doubled in every nerve,
Muscle and fibre of your being.
Five,
Relaxation has now doubled throughout your whole body,
From the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes.
All the muscles of your body have relaxed and doubled their relaxation with just pleasant contented thoughts going through your mind and wonderful feelings going through your body.
And now again I'm going to count from one down to five and this time you will let the muscles in your body triple their relaxation.
So one,
Your relaxation is starting to triple.
Two,
Your relaxation is tripling more and more.
Three,
Very comfortable and very relaxed.
Four,
Your relaxation has almost tripled in every nerve,
Cell and fibre of your being.
Five,
Relaxation has now tripled throughout your entire body,
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
All the muscles of the body have relaxed,
Have doubled their relaxation and tripled their relaxation and your whole body feels so good,
So comfortable,
So relaxed.
All your muscles,
All your organs are functioning perfectly.
All your glands functioning perfectly.
All your body tissues are rejuvenating in this wonderful,
Comfortable,
Relaxed state.
You may find that your arms and legs are very heavy,
Very comfortable and very relaxed.
So heavy and so comfortable that if I was to ask you to move,
You simply wouldn't want to.
So take a few moments to enjoy this peaceful feeling and every time you listen to this,
You will go twice as deeply relaxed,
Twice as quickly,
So that you can obtain maximum benefit from this state.
A complete rest for your mind and body to rejuvenate and heal.
And when you feel ready,
In your own time,
You may want to open your eyes or you may want to drift into a beautiful,
Restful sleep.
