Welcome to this brief self-love practice.
We will lovingly attend to our needs and will emerge from this practice feeling more grounded in our support for ourselves.
To begin,
We'll start to arrange our body slowly,
Tenderly,
Into a comfortable position.
And notice what happens when you use your hands to lovingly guide your legs,
Your arms,
Into the desired position.
Starting to welcome this sense of self-care and self-support.
Drink in a few breaths from this place,
Knowing that you are giving your body what it needs,
What it thrives off of.
Slow,
Rich breaths full of oxygen.
And from this place,
I invite you to wonder,
What is something that I need right now?
And this doesn't have to be concrete,
It can be one,
Two words,
A feeling,
A concept.
What do I need?
What do I want in this moment?
Be it peace,
Belonging,
Or maybe rest,
Or excitement.
Whatever it is,
The wisdom of your body will let you know.
And place a hand on your heart and whisper to yourself,
What do you need right now?
What do you want?
And when things come up,
Continue this conversation as if you were lovingly attending to a friend or a family member.
Tell me,
What does your heart desire?
And then continue this conversation.
Oh,
Is that so?
Tell me more,
Show me the texture,
The feeling of what you need right now.
Lovingly holding space for yourself,
Tenderly bearing witness to yourself's desires,
Yearnings.
And then beginning to open up space,
Bringing in curiosity,
Wonder.
What would it feel like if we welcomed in aspects of what you are needing,
What you're wanting right now into our meditation?
Letting that which you desire wash over you.
And if you'd like,
Whisper or speak these words to yourself.
I am here for you.
I support you.
I hear you.
I see you.
I am with you.
