Well,
Let's begin.
Shall we?
So we will start by welcoming a new.
Chakra cycle.
Here we are.
Back again if you have to do it a thousand times.
That's the practice.
So let's begin.
Bye.
Becoming aware of the moment.
What are we noticing in the moment?
And I'll have you close your eyes if you're comfortable doing so.
And see what's there.
With your eyes closed.
What are you noticing?
Are there shapes?
Are there shadows?
Any colors.
Is it uncomfortable?
Can you feel your eyelashes?
Touching each other.
Touching the eyelids.
And what happens if you.
.
.
Look to one direction with your eyes shut.
Do you see things differently?
Now bring your awareness to what you are hearing.
In this moment.
In this place.
You're hearing my voice.
You might be hearing some noise from the outside.
You might hear things going on inside your own body.
Your heartbeat.
The noises that you make when you swallow.
And all of this is just to become aware,
Not to be judgmental.
Of anything that you hear or see.
But just to notice in this moment.
Do you smell anything?
Do you taste anything?
And then the sense of Touch.
Where are your hands at this moment?
Where are your feet?
Are they touching the floor?
Are they on a bed,
On a couch?
Are they touching each other?
And now as we.
Kind of settle into our body here.
Really become aware of where your clothing is touching your skin.
Where you're.
.
.
Body is touching a piece of furniture or the floor.
And becoming aware of the skin.
Is.
An organ of your body.
How it.
Is elastic and can expand.
And relax.
Depending on your movements.
And settling in even deeper.
Imagine what's under the skin.
The muscles.
And the fascia.
And the organs.
Just giving a little appreciation to all that we don't see.
And become aware of the bones.
The magical.
Blood cell factory.
That's inside of us.
But also that holds us up.
And allows us to move.
And now see if you can bring your attention.
To your ribs.
This amazing cage.
That protects the vital organs underneath it,
But also allows our chest to expand and contract.
So that we can bring in.
The breath.
The Spirit.
So as we.
.
.
Pay attention to our ribs,
Our rib cage.
We can also.
Feel the natural rhythm of our breathing.
Not forced,
Just experienced.
How the air comes in when the ribcage opens.
Expands.
And when the ribcage goes back.
The air goes out.
It's like a bellows that you have at your fireplace.
You separate the little handles and the air goes in.
And then when you push the handles together.
The air blows out.
Now making your breath a little more intentional.
A little deeper.
I breathe in.
I breathe out.
And when.
You get distracted.
By thoughts.
Or worries.
That's all good.
You can set them aside.
And reawaken to in this moment.
As you continue to breathe.
Let's bring our awareness to the seat.
The tip of the tailbone.
That's our first chakra,
The root chakra.
This is the.
.
.
Place of stability and security and rootedness.
And connection to our tribe.
Whatever that means to you.
So become aware of your seat.
This area between the sit bones.
Tip of the tailbone.
Imagine you are sitting on the ground.
And leaning up against a really big,
Old.
.
.
Tree.
You're just leaning against the trunk.
And feeling the bark.
And in this visualization.
Bugs do not exist.
So this tree,
Which has been here for hundreds of years and withstood all kinds of storms and winters,
And it's still.
Rooted in the earth.
And so as you lean against this tree,
Allow yourself to feel.
Fully supported.
Feel the weight of your body.
On the earth.
You do not need to hold anything.
Or carry anything.
You can just rest.
Go back to your breath.
I breathe in.
I breathe out.
And now imagine that at the very tip of your tailbone.
Very.
Base of you,
Of your spine.
You start to bring some warmth energy.
Ball of energy.
If that isn't available to you,
You can think about it in terms of.
A light,
A little glowing ball of light.
Color of the root chakra is red but You can use red or you can use any color that comes to you.
And see if with each breath,
You can make that ball of light a little brighter.
Or a little warmer.
Kind of like.
.
.
The embers in a fire pit.
You can use your bellows to make them brighter.
From that.
Increased energy in that area.
See if you can imagine some sprouts coming out.
Little roots coming out from your tailbone.
Little roots coming out from the soles of your feet.
And just effortlessly going into the earth.
Maybe intermingling with the roots of the tree that you're leaning against.
And now you're planted.
Very secure.
Steady.
So with every inhale now.
Imagine that you're drawing.
Nourishment.
Up from the earth.
Safety.
Calm.
Steady and with your exhale.
You're releasing the stuff.
That you don't want.
Fear.
Tension.
Anxiety.
Conflict.
Sending that down into the earth to be composted.
With the inhale,
Imagine this.
Loving energy coming up from the earth into your feet,
Your legs.
Your hips.
Your belly.
And with the exhale.
Letting your tension.
Fear.
Resentment all drained away.
The Earth knows how to transform whatever is released.
Just like the tree,
You are.
Allowed to take up space.
You belong to the earth and can set your roots down really deep.
You're allowed to rest.
And when you're ready.
You can start to.
.
.
Pull up your roots.
Bring them back into your body.
Knowing that this is accessible to you at any time.
You can come back here again and again.
And bring your awareness back into your physical body.
You can wiggle your fingers,
Toes.
Let's take one.
Big,
Huge breath together.
Huh.
Sigh it out.
Thank you all.
Spending this time.
With me.
And may you feel rooted.
Support it.
And fully connected.
