
The Secret Garden Meditation To Meet Your Spirit Guides
Connect with your Spirit Guides of the highest truth and integrity. As I guide you into a deep relaxation, walk through a secret garden and find a place of peace and reassurance. If you have had trouble connecting with your spirit guides before, this is a safe and easy way to make the connection.

In this guided meditation,
We're going to be finding a safe space from which you can journey to meet your spirit guide or indeed spirit guides.
The intention of the meditation is to really establish a relationship with your guides so that when you do your own meditation that's not guided in your own space and at your own pace,
You will already have someone or some energy that's familiar to you to join you in that space.
With all meditations,
It's really important to begin by being deeply relaxed.
And so I'm going to start by walking you through a physical relaxation which will allow your mind to release its constant chatter and focus upon my words so that you can be guided into the meditation and meet your spirit guide.
So the first thing to begin with is the breath.
Begin by closing your eyes and taking a deep breath.
Take in as much air as you can.
Hold for the count of three and then breathe out,
Making sure that all of the air has left your body.
Do this twice more.
Once you have taken a couple of these deep full breaths,
Focus your attention on your feet.
Clench your feet as tightly as you can,
Hold for a second and then relax them.
Then do the same for the muscles in your lower legs,
Clenching them as tightly as possible,
Holding to feel the tightness and then releasing.
Move on up through your body doing this,
Tightening and then relaxing your thighs,
Buttocks and the muscles of your lower and upper back and shoulders,
Making sure that every muscle in your body has been tightened and then released.
As you do this,
You will realise just how much tension you hold in your body.
When each muscle is released,
It will be so much more relaxed.
So by the time you move up to your jaw,
You will be sitting or lying slumped and relaxed.
It's particularly important to focus on the muscles in your face because so much tension is held here that it can sometimes be difficult to release it.
When you get to your head,
Clench your jaw really tightly and release it.
Screw your face up as much as you can,
Hold and release.
Then just screw your eyes up,
Hold and release.
Even your tongue can be relaxed.
Tighten the muscles in your mouth as best you can,
Hold and then relax.
I always find it amazing just how much stress I hold in my face.
Now that you are physically as relaxed as possible,
Focus your attention back to your breathing.
Breathe in deeply through your nose as before.
This time I want you to feel where the breath is in your body.
Physically sense the air entering your nostrils.
Feel the coldness of the air passing through your nose,
Down your throat and into your lungs.
Feel it hit the pit of your stomach and then fill up your lungs,
Holding it there for a count of three.
Release it through your nose,
Feeling it leave your body bit by bit.
Now I want you to imagine that you are in an incredibly safe space.
As you look down at your feet,
You pay attention to what you are wearing.
What are your feet resting on?
You notice that you are sitting on a chair or a sofa in a special room.
This room is your room.
It is your personal safe space.
It is a place that you can return to at any time whenever you need to.
Take a moment to notice the furnishings.
What are you sitting on?
Are there rugs or carpets on the floor?
Are there plants?
Pictures perhaps?
Or maybe this room is completely empty apart from a bed or a sofa.
Whatever this room looks like,
This is your room and it is a place where you are always safe and always feel grounded,
Comforted and at peace.
Take a moment to really feel into those feelings.
And as you look around your room you notice that on one side of the wall there are large double doors opening out onto a beautiful garden.
And this garden is lush and green.
And you walk over to the doors opening them out and feeling a cool fresh breath of air.
You can feel the sun on your face and maybe you hear birdsong and the sound of bees buzzing on any flowers that may be in the garden.
And you slip your shoes off and step out into this green lush lawned garden feeling the grass between your toes.
And visualizing with every step that you take roots from the soles of your feet reaching down into the earth reminding you that you are always,
Always safe,
Always grounded.
Because we are all parts of nature and we are always able to reconnect and remind ourselves that whatever is going on,
Whatever is happening and wherever we are,
We are all always part of this greater whole.
And as you take a step forward and walk into this lush rich garden feeling the grass under your toes,
The sun on your face,
Perhaps you start to smell the beautiful scent of flowers or maybe it's the scent of freshly cut lawn.
And you hear the birds and you feel the sun and you feel at peace.
And you start to notice that at the end of this lush green garden there is what seems to be a flower bed filled with beautiful blossoms and lush rich dark green foliage.
You walk towards the end of the garden and as you get closer you realize there's actually a tunnel that you can get down on your hands and knees and crawl through.
And at the other end of this tunnel you'll open out into a space,
A clearing,
An equally safe and sacred space where you will be able to meet your spirit guide.
And you decide to take this journey to crawl through this tunnel and emerge on the other side into this beautiful space.
Now this space may be a huge field,
Maybe a smaller enclosed garden,
Maybe it has ancient brick walls.
Whatever this space looks like you notice a tree further back and sitting underneath this tree is your spirit guide.
And you make your way across the garden or the field towards this tree and towards your guide.
And when you get there you greet each other and notice what your guide looks like.
How have they manifested for you today?
Maybe they will be a person,
Maybe they will be an animal.
Perhaps your spirit guide is a colour or a scent or a feeling.
Maybe they are all of these things or flick between one and the other.
However your guide has manifested you sit under the tree with them,
Feeling completely seen and completely held and completely safe.
And you ask your spirit guide what do I need to know today?
And then you take a few minutes now to receive the guidance,
The energy,
The information and the love that your spirit guide has to offer you.
Perhaps your spirit guide will give you information or guidance in the form of words.
It may be a particular phrase that they repeat or maybe they will show you a particular image or a memory.
Maybe the guidance will come in the form of a colour or a strong feeling.
Sometimes our guides communicate to us in analogies with symbols.
Sometimes they just directly tell us things in the form of knowledge that we just suddenly have.
Now that you've asked your guide what it is you need to know today,
Feel free to ask them for their guidance on anything that's happening for you right now that you're struggling with.
Ask for them to shine a light on anything that you feel you don't understand fully or you would like some extra information about.
Your spirit guide is here to help you in as many different ways as they can.
Remember that your guide wants you to be as successful and happy and joyful as you can be.
Spend some time now with your guide receiving what it is that they can give you.
Now that you've spent some time with your guide,
Thank them.
And remember that your spirit guides are with you all the time.
Even if you find it difficult to see them or hear them or you struggle or have struggled in the past to connect up with them,
That does not mean that they are not present.
All it means is that you need to work together to find a method of communicating that works well.
And perhaps that method is simply to listen to this meditation and join your guide in this special sacred space once a week.
It's important to remember that you are never alone.
And even when you feel the most despair,
The most anxiety and the most loneliness and disconnection,
Those feelings,
They are not reflective of the reality of your existence.
Your guides are always with you.
And any time that you want their assistance or their guidance,
You will be able to find them under this tree.
You say goodbye to your guide and turn back towards the entrance of the tunnel that you came through.
Slowly making your way back to the entrance of the tunnel,
You crawl back through and emerge into the beautiful sunny garden that you came from.
And you feel the sun on your face and hear the birds singing again.
You smell the scent of the blossoms and feel the grass between your toes.
As you make your way across the lawn back up to the double doors,
Stepping through them into your own sacred space,
Your own safe room.
You close those doors behind you and sit back on your chair or sofa.
With your eyes closed,
You draw your attention back to your breath and taking a deep breath in through your nose.
You feel the air entering your chest and then exhaling through your nose.
Feel it leave your body.
And then gradually with your next breath in,
You start to become aware of your physical body again.
Maybe you wiggle your toes,
Your fingers and with the next breath out,
You feel even more in your physical body.
Until you breathe in for the third time and breathe out,
Slowly opening your eyes and realizing that you are back in the present moment in your room.
