Our place in the Field of Love is a guided meditation that expands our heart presence and synchronizes our body with Mother Earth. This exercise allows us to know our place within Wholeness. It focuses on our interconnection and conscious awareness. It offers a way to activate healing, our self and for the world. There is a journaling prompt at the end for those interested. Hello,
Dear one.
Today we come to know ourselves in the field of love.
Our primary teacher today is love herself,
The vastness which holds our inner connection.
Most of us live in our mind.
This meditation is moving us into our heart.
We come to know ourselves more deeply,
To understand our own power,
Our own agency within love.
I'm not talking about some kind of emotionality or sentiment.
I'm talking about love as a viable field that coheres and influences us,
That resonates in and through us.
I ask you to surrender to love for these few moments,
To surrender to this process.
Allow yourself to be held in this space,
To become more deeply aware of the field of love.
Simply settle in,
Sitting comfortably and easy,
A place where you won't be disturbed,
And begin to breathe more consciously.
No strain,
Just simply drop into your own natural rhythm.
Let the words flow over you as you become more relaxed,
Settling in,
Becoming more comfortable,
Breathing in and out.
We find this field of love through our own heart.
Our heart emits an electromagnetic field that reflects our own state.
When we're calm and clear,
The frequency of our heart matches the frequency of the center of the earth,
And we are aligned and cohered in a powerful way.
When we're in a frantic state,
Our heart feels chaotic,
And we push and shove our way through life,
Not remembering that force creates an equal and opposite reaction,
Creating our own obstacles.
When we are centered in the field of love,
We shine like the sun,
We have the capacity to influence and impact in positive ways,
And we remember our inner connection.
Our own heart field is very personal,
Is resonant or chaotic,
And we live within,
Which impacts our thoughts,
Our mood,
Our energy.
I will refer to this electromagnetic field as our atmosphere.
It is through our atmosphere that we are connected to wholeness,
To love,
And it is through our spinning thoughts and our wounds that block our awareness that love is real.
Today we will move into that field of love consciously.
We will learn how to find that resonant place within,
To gain more comfort that it is real,
To gain more awareness that it is true.
Continue to allow yourself to settle in,
Simply let go of any running thoughts,
Any sense of urgency,
And surrender into love as she takes us deep into our wholeness.
Continue the rhythm of your breath,
Relaxed and at ease.
I invite you to bring your attention to the center of your chest,
To begin to imagine or feel your breath moving in through your heart.
As you exhale,
You'll have a sensation or a visualization of it moving out through your diaphragm,
Your solar plexus,
Or your upper stomach,
Settling into this rhythm,
Breathing in and out,
Allowing your mind and your body to rest more completely.
As you are relaxed and at peace,
Bring your attention to the outside edge of your left arm.
Begin to notice the sensation that attention creates.
What does it feel like?
Is it warm,
Tingly?
Maybe it's a pressure.
It doesn't matter which,
We all have our own unique experience.
Simply allow it to be what it is,
Feeling the presence of your attention.
Now we shift this attention to the periphery,
The outside edge of our right leg.
And once again,
Simply feel your attention.
How does it feel this time?
Is it different?
Is the feeling of your attention the same?
Staying deeply relaxed,
We simply notice the sensation that we feel with attention.
This gentle sensation,
Whatever is your specific sensation,
Is like being lightly touched by silence.
This silence always encompasses us and embraces our body.
It transforms our body.
It moves us deep into our soul.
It strengthens our presence of love.
Simply sit with it for just another moment,
Breathing in and out.
We now turn our attention to the center of our chest,
The area of our heart.
Feel the presence of attention once again.
What does that feel like?
Notice how your attention announces itself wherever it is focused.
Feel the touch,
The subtle embrace.
Our body relaxes even more.
The tightness eases.
We begin to feel surrounded by deep love.
We allow ourselves to be fully present in this profound sense of love that holds us.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this field of love.
You may even notice an expansion occurring as all these places,
Touched by love,
By silence,
Begin to expand into one atmosphere,
One field of love that surrounds us.
This is a resonant state,
A place where our body and the field of love sync up.
Simply allow it to be.
Feel it.
Breathe it in and out.
There's no hurry.
Simply allow it to be.
Breathing in and out,
Allowing it to expand.
Feeling the force field of love,
Feeling it be more fully expressed,
More fully expanded.
Allow it to come.
This is not an act of will.
It is not an act of force.
It is an act of attention.
We have felt our attention.
Now we simply allow it to be.
Settle and stabilize.
Continue to breathe into a fuller expression of who you are.
Being stable in our own heart field allows us to strengthen our attention,
To learn to direct our attention in a powerful way for good in the world.
It is this coherent heart field that connects us to wholeness,
To love that is active and alive in this world.
For many of us,
This love has been covered by chaos,
Urgency,
And frantic living.
As we're able to consciously stabilize our atmosphere,
Our heart field,
We are able to extend out our attention through an intentional thought.
Feel the clarity and the strength of this stillness.
Feel the capacity of this field.
We have felt the impact of our attention.
We know that it has a power,
And we're now bringing this attention within our own heart field.
As we stabilize our fully extended atmosphere,
We continue to focus on our heart,
Fully aware of our expanded state.
This expanded state is not a strain.
It is a natural presence around us that is part of us.
Breathe this in and out.
Feel the love that is naturally present.
One way to send this presence of love out into the world is to gesture heart.
We gesture heart by saying the word together.
We know that there are many people on Insight Timer right at this moment meditating with us.
As we activate the field of love,
The intention of love,
We send out love by just a simple gesture.
As you do this,
You may notice a sensation.
Maybe it feels like a small burst of light,
An expanded heart,
Possibly even a slight bow.
You may have no sense of it at all.
And all of those are right.
Allow it to be what it is.
We don't control this field.
We simply participate with it.
So now,
Together,
In just a whisper,
We say the word heart.
And again,
We gesture heart.
Feel your atmosphere stabilize and strengthen,
Expand.
Feel the power of our intention to know our place in the field of love.
Feel the power as we merge with other meditators into one field.
Feel our expanded love beginning to connect,
Allowing ourselves to be one in the field of love,
Strengthening our interconnected state.
We once again gesture heart,
Allowing a brief pause here at this profound moment.
We are consciously interconnected with love,
Allowing love to unfold us completely.
Breathe it in deeply.
Feel the strength of our expanded heart field.
And with intention and with gesture,
We ask it to begin to unfold the world.
And together,
We gesture heart.
It is possible that some of you may experience a flash of pain or fear.
If that's so,
Know that you are safe and held in love.
If you're familiar with Tonglen,
I invite you to breathe in the pain and allow love to transmute it within you.
This active field of love is powerful.
If you are not familiar with Tonglen,
I invite you to breathe in love and surrender your pain into love.
You may do this at any point during this exercise.
Now let us take our collective attention,
This field of loving presence,
To those places in the world that are held closest to our own heart.
It may be the children,
The animals,
The forests,
The oceans.
It might be an organization,
A business,
Government,
The leaders.
Whatever speaks to you.
And together,
We unfold them in love by gesturing heart.
Let us now direct our attention and the love to those that are closest to us in our life,
To those we hold dear,
To our family,
Our friends,
Our communities.
Let us unfold them in this field of love.
And together,
We gesture heart.
Once again,
We bring our attention back into our own heart.
I invite you to be a blessing to yourself.
May you activate love in your own body,
In your own life,
In every cell of your being.
Wherever you may perceive a struggle or a limitation,
I ask you to place a tension of love there for healing,
For restoration.
And together,
We gesture heart.
Let us hold this activated loving field for just a moment longer,
Allowing the healing to be deep and profound.
Surrender pain into the field of love.
Allow her to heal you.
Allow her to hold you.
We begin to return by bringing our attention back to our breath,
To our body,
To our feet on the floor.
You can continue to feel the breath holding this field of love even as you begin to wiggle and become more alert.
Know that your body is fully back here and now.
Your mind is clear and calm.

Holding clarity,
Holding peace.
