And welcome to The Daily Insight.
My name is Elisha Goldstein,
And today's meditation focuses on priming your mind for greater presence,
Gratitude,
And fulfillment in your life.
So taking a moment to get in a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Beginning by checking in with your body,
Noticing how your body's feeling as you're beginning this practice.
If there's any areas of tension or holding anywhere,
See if you can allow them to soften or adjust your body as needed.
Maybe even do a gentle stretch.
Also realizing that within your body is this heart.
Breathing in and breathing into your heart.
Maybe putting your hands on your heart.
Knowing that as long as this heart is beating,
You're alive.
Sensing into that gift.
Beginning to reflect on one memory that you're deeply grateful for.
Something you can be so appreciative of.
This could be a recent memory,
As early as today,
Or something in the distant past.
Maybe it was the day your children were born,
Or the day you found your partner,
Or the moment you spent some really great time with a good friend.
Bringing it alive in your mind and feeling it as if you were there.
Who was there?
What was happening?
What was it that was so good about this moment?
Feeling this gratitude as if it was right now.
What a gift.
Maybe even noticing a smile coming up in your mind,
Drawn to your face,
Allowing it to be.
Beginning to sense into your body naturally breathing.
Breathing in,
Sensing into the nourishment of this breath.
Every breath feeding the cells of your body.
Every breath feeding you vitality and life.
Breathing in this nourishment or considering what you need in this moment.
Love,
Acceptance,
Peace,
Courage,
Playfulness,
Healing,
Energy.
Feeling this into your body,
Breathing out,
Relaxing,
Releasing.
Now beginning to think of one goal in your life that you're wanting to achieve.
This could be in respect to a healthy body or healthy mind,
Into a significant relationship or maybe a business goal.
Visualizing it vividly in your mind and seeing how achieving that goal improves your life.
And maybe how it improves the lives of the people that love you.
Dropping down from just imagining this and actually feeling it as if it was here.
Feeling so deeply grateful that this moment has arrived.
Allowing yourself to feel the excitement of it and the energy that comes from this accomplishment.
Maybe even thinking of yourself and all the people who helped you get here,
Expressing deep gratitude toward yourself and toward them.
And as you're feeling this energy build inside of you,
Imagining a bold yes appear in your mind to your life,
To this energy,
To this strength,
To your future.
Letting it all in,
Bringing it into your heart.
This is your true self,
Gratitude,
Love,
Courage,
Strength,
Awakened.
Feeling it and letting it be.
In a moment a bell will ring signaling the end of this practice.
Taking this final moment to deeply thank yourself for taking this time and bring this energy into the rest of your day.
