Hi,

And welcome to the Daily Insight.

My name is Elisha Goldstein,

And today's meditation focuses on priming your mind for greater presence,

Gratitude,

And fulfillment in your life.

So starting off by just getting in a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

The most important thing is just to have a straight spine for an ease of breathing.

And also beginning to check in with how your body's feeling.

Being aware if there's any tension or holding anywhere in your body.

And if there is,

Seeing if you can allow that area to soften or adjust your body,

Or even take this opportunity to do a gentle stretch.

And also being aware that within your body,

You have this heart beating right now.

So taking your hand and placing it on your heart,

And breathing into your heart with the next breath.

Noticing the beating of your heart.

And also how you didn't need to earn this heart.

You were worthy of this heart right from the beginning.

And as long as this heart is beating,

You're alive.

So taking a moment to feel into this gift.

Now,

You're going to uncover three memories that you're deeply grateful for.

And so now starting with the first one.

Reflect back onto one memory in your life that you can feel so grateful for,

So appreciative of.

This might have been the day one of your children were born,

Or the day you found your partner.

Or a moment you spent time with a good friend.

Or a moment of accomplishment,

Or a time in deep meditation or prayer.

Or maybe it was just a time from earlier today.

Any moment that you can feel deeply appreciative of.

Bringing it alive in your mind.

Feeling it as if you were there.

And you're reflecting on it,

Considering who was there,

What was happening,

What was said.

What was it that was so good about this moment?

Feeling so appreciative.

Giving yourself permission to feel it and enjoy it.

And now,

Thinking of a second moment.

A second moment in your life that could be from any time in your life,

Or even as early as today.

Bringing it alive in your mind.

Feeling it as if it were here right now.

Giving thanks.

Such a beautiful moment.

Bringing to mind now a third moment.

Allowing it to come alive in your mind as vividly as possible.

Remembering that experience.

Noticing if there's a smile coming into your mind as you're remembering it,

Feeling it,

Tasting it.

A smile maybe coming onto your heart or even onto your face.

Just allowing it to be.

Savoring this feeling.

What a gift.

Now,

Beginning to become aware of your body just naturally breathing.

Breathing in and sensing this breath coming in.

Breathing out and just sensing this breath going out.

Breathing in and being aware of the nourishment of this breath.

As you're breathing in,

Imagining this breath bringing in and strengthening every cell of your body.

Every cell feeding on the oxygen that's coming in.

Breathing out,

Relaxing,

Releasing.

Maybe breathing in what you need in your life right now.

Love,

Acceptance,

Peace,

Courage,

Playfulness,

Healing,

Energy.

As you breathe in,

Sensing the nourishment of that breath and allowing it to fill your body.

Breathing out,

Releasing,

Relaxing.

Letting be.

Breathing in,

Sensing this breath coming in.

Breathing out,

Releasing,

Relaxing.

As you feel into this nourishment,

The love,

The acceptance,

Now with the out breath,

Sending it out to all the people you love.

Breathing in,

The love,

The acceptance,

Peace,

Courage,

Healing,

Energy,

Whatever it is that you're needing,

That nourishment.

And out sending it to all those people you love,

Imagining them receiving it.

And even expanding it out from there.

One for me and one for you beyond the people that are in your close circle,

Maybe to your colleagues and strangers.

And even imagining and expanding out throughout the world,

Breathing in one for me,

The nourishment,

What I'm needing.

Breathing out,

One for everyone.

One for me,

And one for you.

Just continuing to fill up with the nourishing energy that strengthens you.

And on the out breath,

Sending it out to all those you love.

Noticing how you can grow the loving energy as you nourish yourself and send it to others.

The light of your candle,

Lighting the candle to others.

Breathing in for me,

Breathing out for you.

And now,

You're going to think of three goals in your life that you're wanting to achieve.

This could be in respect to a healthy body,

A healthy mind,

A business goal,

A healthy relationship.

This could be a specific goal about exercising a certain amount during your week or a certain goal with your meditation practice or a certain thing in your business that you're wanting to achieve.

This could be bringing more passion and love into your relationship,

Noticing what that would look like.

We're going to visualize these one by one,

Imagining in detail what it would be like if you achieve this goal and then as if it was happening,

Feeling so grateful for the arrival of that moment.

So now,

Visualizing the first goal achieved vividly in your mind.

Seeing how achieving that goal improves your life and maybe how it improves the lives of the people that you love.

Dropping down from just imagining this and actually feeling it as if it was here.

Feeling so deeply grateful that this moment has arrived.

Allowing yourself to feel the excitement of it and the energy that comes from this accomplishment.

What an incredible moment.

Now thinking of a second achievement,

Bringing it vividly to your mind.

Who is there?

What is happening?

What is said?

Feeling the energy in your body of having finally gotten to this goal.

Just having a moment,

Imagining yourself feeling it,

Being excited by it,

Celebrating it.

Now thinking of a third goal.

A third goal you want to come alive in your life and bringing it to your mind like it's happening right now and being so excited about it happening and feeling the gratitude and joy of finally getting to this moment.

Allowing yourself to feel it in your body and seeing if a smile comes alive inside or maybe even it comes alive on the outside.

You've done it.

Feeling the accomplishment of this moment.

Feeling how proud you are.

You want a gift.

You want to be a part of it.

Taking a moment to think of yourself and all who have helped you get here and your mind expressing deep gratitude toward yourself and toward them.

Allowing this energy to expand inside you,

Placing your hands on your heart if they're not already there.

Feeling this energy,

Feeling this love,

Feeling this gratitude.

Knowing that no one is more deserving of this life than you.

And your mind see a bold yes appear.

Yes to your life,

Yes to this energy,

Yes to this strength,

Yes to this future.

And now letting it all be,

Taking it in,

Bringing it into your heart.

This is your true self.

Gratitude,

Love,

Strength,

Courage.

It's awakened.

Just taking a moment to feel it,

Know it,

Be it.

This is the true you.

Feasting on your life.

And in a moment,

A bell will ring signaling the end of this practice.

So taking this final time to deeply thank yourself for taking time out of all your daily busyness for your own health and well being.

And commit to bring this energy into the rest of your day.
