Hi,
And welcome to The Daily Insight.
My name is Elisha Goldstein,
And today's meditation focuses on priming your mind for greater presence,
Gratitude,
And fulfillment in your life.
Taking a moment to get in a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And gently checking with your body,
Noticing how your body's feeling.
If there's any tension or holding anywhere,
Seeing if you can allow that to soften,
Or gently adjust or stretch your body as needed.
And also being aware of how within your body you have a heart.
So taking a moment to place your hand on your heart and just feel the heartbeat that's there.
Knowing that this heart continues to beat for you day and night without you needing to manage or control it at all.
You didn't need to earn this heart.
You were worthy of it the moment you came into this world.
And as long as this heart is beating,
You're alive.
So feeling into this gift.
Now I'm going to ask you to bring to mind two memories that you're deeply grateful for.
Starting with the first one.
So reflecting back on one memory in your life that you can feel so grateful for.
This could have been something recent or something in the distant past.
Maybe the day your children were born or the day you found your partner or a moment you spent time with a good friend or a moment you achieved something,
Accomplished something.
Time in deep meditation or prayer or any moment you feel deeply appreciative of.
Feeling alive in your mind,
Feeling it as if you were there.
Remembering it.
Who was there?
What was happening?
What was said?
What was it that was so good about this moment?
Feeling the gratitude as if it was right now.
Now bringing another moment to mind.
This could be from any time in your life or even today.
As you're bringing it alive in your mind,
Feeling it as if it was here right now.
Giving thanks.
What a beautiful moment.
Even noticing a smile coming into your mind or onto your heart or even on your face allowing it to be savoring this feeling.
Now beginning to bring awareness to your body naturally breathing.
Sensing into the nourishment of the breath.
Breathing in,
Bringing in the nourishment of this breath.
Imagining it flow throughout your body.
Breathing out just letting be.
Breathing in maybe even bringing in what you're needing.
Of acceptance,
Peace,
Courage,
Playfulness,
Healing,
Energy.
Allowing it to filter through all the pores of your body.
Breathing out releasing,
Relaxing a bit more.
Breathing out releasing,
Relaxing a bit more.
Now beginning to bring to mind two goals in your life.
Two results,
Two outcomes,
Two things you want to achieve.
This could be in respect to a healthy body or healthy mind,
A business goal you have,
A goal with your finances or maybe something in respect to a relationship that you hold dear.
You're going to visualize them one by one imagining in detail what it would be like if you achieved this goal as if it was happening right now feeling so grateful for the arrival of this moment.
So now visualizing the first goal achieved vividly in your mind.
Seeing how achieving that goal improves your life and maybe how it improves the lives of the people that you love.
Dropping down from just imagining this in your mind and actually feeling it as if it was here.
Feeling so deeply grateful that this moment has arrived.
Allowing yourself to feel the excitement of it and the energy from it.
What an incredible moment.
And now bringing to mind the second achievement,
The second outcome.
Bringing it to mind vividly.
Feeling the energy in your body of having finally gotten to this goal.
What a moment.
See yourself excited by it,
Celebrating it,
Feeling so grateful that this moment has arrived.
What a gift.
And even thinking of yourself and all who have helped you get here and then your mind expressing deep gratitude toward yourself and toward them.
Allowing this energy to expand inside you,
Placing your hands on your heart if they're not there already.
Feeling this energy,
Feeling this love,
Feeling this gratitude.
Feeling that no one is more deserving of this life than you.
In your mind see a bold yes appear.
Yes to your life,
Yes to this energy,
Yes to the strength,
Yes to this future.
And now letting it all be,
Taking it in,
Bringing it into your heart.
This is your true self,
Gratitude,
Love,
Strength,
Courage,
Awakened.
Feeling it,
Knowing it,
Being it.
This is you feasting on your life.
And in a moment a bell will ring signaling the end of this practice.
Taking this final moment to deeply thank yourself for taking this time and bring this energy into the rest of your day.
