Hello everyone,

Welcome to our special place guided meditation.

My name is David And my name is Barbie We'll lead you through this special meditation with the goal to help you feel relaxed,

Re-energized and more centered So why don't we start off by making sure that your environment is prepared for you and that you are in a quiet place free of distractions Turn off your phone or just turn off the ringer and when you are ready,

Let us begin Find a comfortable position Shifting your weight so that your body is fully supported with your head neck and spine aligned and comfortable Place your arms and legs in a position that feels right for you Loosen any clothing that feels tight and remove your glasses if you wish if you're comfortable and Haven't done so yet Slowly and gently allow your eyes to close or keep your gaze soft And now Taking a couple of deep cleansing breaths Inhaling as fully as you comfortably can Sending the warm energy of your breath to any part of your body that is sore or tense or tight And Releasing the discomfort with the exhale so that you can feel your breath going to all the tight tense places Loosening and softening them and then gathering up all the tension and breathing it out So that more and more you feel safe and comfortable Relaxed and calm Watching the cleansing action of the breath with friendly but detached awareness And any unwelcome thoughts or feelings you may have those two are sent out with the breath That your inside can be still and quiet Like a lake with no ripples and now imagine yourself in a very special place a Place where you feel calm peaceful and at ease It can be a real place a place you may actually have been Or it may be an imaginary place A place in fairy tales indoors or outdoors It doesn't really matter The only thing that matters is that it is a place that feels comfortable peaceful and safe to you Nothing can happen to you Nothing can happen to you here you feel comfortable and safe Should more than one place come to mind choose one right now and imagine yourself there If a special place has not appeared Allow yourself to imagine what your special place would look like if it did appear to you right now And now And now looking all around you in your special place looking to the left and Looking to the right Appreciating the scene with all your senses Listening to the sounds of your special place Listening to the sounds of your special place Perhaps it's the waves gently lapping at the shore Or the call of a distant bird that you hear Or maybe it's the sound of the wind and the trees Or perhaps you are surrounded by stillness and quiet Just listening to whatever you are hearing in this wonderful place a place that is so comfortable and peaceful to you A place that is so comfortable and peaceful to you And now take a deep breath and notice the rich fragrances around you Perhaps your favorite flower is in bloom or You may be smelling the pungent scent of pine Or the salty sea air Maybe it's the aroma of your favorite food that's surrounding you Relax and enjoy the peace comfort and safety of your special place Feel the air on your skin Experience the ground securely under you Touch and feel the whole environment that you are in Notice what you're wearing What's on your feet What time of year is it?

Time of day What's the temperature?

Is it warm or cold?

Notice the colors that surround you and notice all the qualities of this place that make it so safe and comfortable for you And looking around you now to see if there's anything or anyone else who would make this place more special for you You may bring that person or object into your special place now if you wish Or perhaps there is something or someone that needs to be removed from your special place to make it more comfortable and safe You may remove it now if it feels right And now just taking a few moments in silence to enjoy the safety and serenity of your special place And now as this imagery comes to an end allow your breathing to deepen and slowly and gently bring your attention and your focus back into the room Feel alert and awake but calm and relaxed And at your own pace,

Slowly and gently open your eyes
