Close your eyes and take three deep breaths,
Letting each exhale be longer than the inhale.
As you breathe in,
Really feel your lungs and your ribcage expand.
As you exhale,
Allow the tension in your body to relax.
As you breathe in,
Imagine that you are breathing in permission to focus on you,
And as you exhale,
You are releasing tension and toxins through your breath.
Another deep breath in,
And another deep breath out,
Exhaling slowly,
Slowly,
Allowing the weight of your body to sink into the surface beneath you.
This is the Great Mother Earth holding you,
Supporting you.
Now,
Imagine standing at the entrance of a tranquil forest.
As you take a step in,
The outside world and its concerns start to fade away.
Feel the gentle crunch of leaves underfoot and the cool,
Fresh air against your skin.
As you continue to walk through the serene forest,
You feel the presence of your protector parts surrounding you.
These are the aspects of yourself that have been trying to shield you from pain,
Discomfort,
Or perceived danger.
Take a moment to observe them without judgment.
Recognize their intention.
They have been working diligently,
Believing that their actions are for your benefit.
Gently ask them,
Why do you do what you do?
What are you protecting me from?
Listen to their answers.
Allow them to speak freely.
Let them express their fears,
Their concerns,
And their beliefs.
They may reveal aspects of your inner child or other vulnerable parts of your psyche that they have been guarding.
Respond to them with understanding.
I see why you've been acting this way.
You've been trying to protect me,
And I appreciate that.
But I'm ready now to face those hidden parts.
I'm strong enough to handle the emotions,
The situations,
And the truths.
Will you help me do that?
Taking in the presence of this peaceful forest,
Repeat the affirmations,
Either inside your mind or out loud.
I honor my protector parts for their intentions to keep me safe.
I am strong enough to face the hidden aspects of myself.
I trust in the process of uncovering and healing the vulnerable parts within me.
I am guided by wisdom and love,
And I can handle the truths that arise.
As you continue to walk,
Visualize your protector parts transforming.
They begin to change from barriers to bridges,
Connecting you to the deeper hidden aspects of yourself.
They are no longer working against you,
But with you.
Feel a sense of gratitude and love toward these parts.
Embrace them as allies on your journey.
As the forest path begins to open,
See the light filtering through the trees.
Recognize that you are not alone in this process.
You have the support of your inner wisdom,
Your spiritual guidance,
