Welcome to today's affirmation practice.
Today we focus on easing stress and anxiety.
As we begin,
Feel the presence of the ground you're standing on,
Your yoga mat,
Your chair,
Or your bed,
And feel the solidness as Mother Earth beneath you is holding you and supporting you.
If it feels comfortable,
Put your hand on your chest and your belly and take three deep grounding breaths,
Filling your lungs,
Really using your diaphragm to bring in air,
And then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Take two more deep breaths like this,
And as you breathe in,
You are breathing in permission to release,
And as you exhale,
You are releasing tension from the body.
Another deep breath in.
You are breathing in freedom,
And as you exhale,
You accept freedom from excessive worry,
And you feel it release,
Release,
Release through your breath as you allow your muscles to relax.
For today's affirmations,
You can let them resonate in your mind,
You can say them out loud or say them to yourself.
You are taking positive steps toward more tranquility and serenity.
Let's begin.
I am aware of my body,
And I am grateful for the vitality coursing through my entire being.
I am aware of my right to exist just as I am.
While I may feel stress and anxiety,
I recognize that they are warning signs from my nervous system.
Every day,
I gain greater mastery at releasing stress and worry.
Free from judgment or criticism,
I am open and curious to see what messages come to me.
I take note of everything in my immediate environment that proves that I am safe right now.
I know that stress and anxiety are often worries about the future,
So for just a few moments,
I consciously choose to let thoughts of the future go and tune into the present moment.
I am present.
I am capable of being with myself at all times.
I am safe.
I am resourceful.
I am willing to open my mind to peace.
I embrace serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
I feel my connection to all of life.
I call on protection and support from all positive energy forces,
Ancestors,
And the many beings who care for me.
Surrounded in this moment,
I am grateful for my awareness.
I am grateful for all that I have.
I am grateful for my courage.
I tune into peace.
And though stressful feelings may arise again,
I am reminded that I am a child of life.
I am cared for,
Loved,
And nurtured by all of life.
As I move through my day,
May I be truly happy.
May I be free from suffering.
May I be truly well in body,
In mind,
And in heart.
May I live peacefully and with ease.
Now take a deep breath in and feel the energy and positivity of these words and the support of all of life.
Let this force field of energy surround you like a rainbow.
As you exhale,
Once again,
Feel yourself rooted and grounded in Mother Earth,
Supported and loved.
Have a blessed day.
