And you may even find yourself fast asleep before the end of this track,
And that's perfectly okay because your unconscious mind is always listening.
And while you drift and dream,
You can continue to heal the inner child and build self-love and self-compassion so you can embrace all aspects of yourself and wake up feeling good about yourself,
Having effortless confidence,
Self-assurance,
And self-compassion.
And you will see this grow day after day as you continue to practice healing your inner child,
Giving yourself exactly what you need to feel good and safe,
And you will find over time that these aspects of self-compassion continue to guide your life.
So go ahead and make yourself even more comfortable than moments before,
That's right,
Making any and all adjustments to your body to honor this moment of more comfort.
Sinking even more into your cushion or bed,
Settling into this stillness,
And feeling the tiredness of your eyes.
And you may be already ahead of me,
And you can close down the eyes even more,
Allowing the eyes to rest even more,
So that the tiniest muscles around the eyes can soften and soothe and welcome sleep now.
And there's nothing for you to do,
Nothing that you have to try to do,
Just allow my voice to be a guide to an inward journey within.
Because the day is officially done,
And you have nothing to do right now.
Giving yourself full and complete permission to enjoy this moment of respite,
The comfort and coziness of your bed.
And as your mind drifts and dreams,
You can find that you can listen to my voice,
Allowing my suggestions to be offerings for within,
Allowing it to help heal whatever needs to be healed today,
And responding to each and every suggestion that is most helpful for you,
So that you can shift from doing to being.
And I welcome you to take a cleansing breath in,
Inhale now through your nose,
And exhale through your mouth with a sigh.
A sigh signals your body and mind to let go of what no longer serves it,
And go ahead and take that cleansing breath two more times,
Inhaling calm,
And exhaling what no longer serves you,
Letting it go,
Letting it flow,
So you can rest even deeper in this moment.
Inhaling serenity,
And exhaling.
Any remaining mental or physical tension can be completely released now,
Allowing your mind to slow down,
And your body to relax,
Easily and effortlessly.
Because each and every breath you take will guide you deeper and deeper into this delightful sleepiness,
This delightful healing that is happening all by itself.
And you can continue to breathe in however way you wish,
Noticing that natural soothing rhythm of your breath as it rocks you deeper and deeper asleep,
And as the body and mind sink deeper and deeper into your inner serenity,
You'll be able to unlock your wisdom,
Your creativity,
And your natural compassion within,
Being able to step into your higher,
Wiser self.
As you drift and dream,
And respond to every suggestion that is most helpful for you,
And I welcome you to set an intention for this practice,
A positive intention that allows you to heal deeply within,
Allow those words to come to you easily and effortlessly,
And affirm it to yourself three times.
And I invite you to have a fresh breath in,
Allow it to flow freely throughout your body,
And as you do,
I invite you to think about the word freedom,
And slowly scan your body from head to toe,
And notice how you could feel freer in your body right now.
Is there any adjustments or movements that could provide more freedom and more comfort now?
Giving yourself that freedom now,
So that the body can sink even deeper into this freedom,
Into this serenity,
So that your jaw can soften,
The shoulders can release,
The torso naturally expands with every fresh breath,
The spine adjusts and rests deeper and deeper into the bed,
Even the hands loosen and release,
And the legs loosen and extend,
So that the feet and toes rest gently,
Enjoying this lightness and this freedom now from head to toe,
Letting any and all bracing or tension simply go,
Let it go,
Let it flow,
And enjoy this freedom of relaxation even more than before.
And in a moment,
You will see a door in front of you,
And beyond this door is a safe,
Comfortable,
And relaxing space that is uniquely your own,
A space that provides a wonderful discussion of healing,
Of help,
A space that allows you and your inner child to be heard and understood.
So when you are ready,
You can walk up closer and closer,
Step by step,
With every step you take closer to that door,
Being filled with more curiosity,
More calm,
And more compassion,
And you have the key to unlock the love within.
So go ahead,
Unlock that door,
And step inside to a beautiful place and space that has all your needs met.
This place can be one that is familiar,
Or a place that you wish to go,
Or even a place that is in a fantasy,
Giving yourself full and complete permission to explore this beautiful,
Safe space,
To get to know it even more.
Allowing all five of your senses to become alive here,
Seeing in vivid detail the comfort around you,
Whether it's plush cushions or seats,
Feeling deep peace and relaxation as you notice the environment around you,
Hearing the calming sounds,
Perhaps of nature,
Or even soothing music,
Even feeling the comfort of this place.
Perhaps there's a comfortable chair that you wish to sit in,
Or a plush blanket to really cuddle up in.
Really enjoy this space,
And notice specifically what makes this place so safe,
So enjoyable here.
And allowing these feelings of deep calm,
Ease,
And serenity flow through you from head to toe,
As you simply relax in this enjoyable meeting space,
Knowing all your needs are met here,
And it's a perfect spot to have a wonderful conversation in,
Perhaps over tea or delicious snacks.
Now I welcome you in a moment to invite your inner child to this meeting space,
This safe space,
So that you can get to know one another,
To really understand on a deeper level what your inner child needs from you,
And how you can provide safety,
Consistency,
Protection,
And compassion to your inner child.
And go ahead and invite your inner child to be welcomed into this space,
Noticing how your inner child looks today,
Noticing how old they are,
What clothes they are wearing,
How their body is postured,
And even what facial expression they have.
And go ahead and give them a warm welcome,
Thanking them for their presence to be here today.
And give them some space to enjoy this meeting space,
Allowing them to become even more comfortable than before.
Perhaps giving them a snack,
Or a blanket,
Or even a toy,
So that they can feel even more comfortable and safer than before.
And your child has something very important to share with you.
Perhaps there is an aspect of them showing up here today,
At this age,
At this stage,
Of mine,
For a reason.
Perhaps there is a need that needs to be given.
So go ahead and just hear with deep understanding and listen to what your inner child needs from you now.
And whatever unmet need is expressed,
You as a parent of your inner child's self,
Know that you have the wisdom,
The compassion,
The language,
And the skills to understand how to give this unmet need to your child now.
And to show total acceptance and reintegration of this aspect of yourself to yourself.
Can you take some time now to answer any questions and show your radical acceptance and compassion to your inner child now?
Take a few more minutes to provide any words of compassion,
Of validation,
Or even give them exactly what they need to feel better,
Safer,
And seen.
And reconnecting with them now and seeing how understanding their needs and giving exactly what they need allows them to transform,
To shift their facial expression to something more positive.
Whether it's relief,
Happiness,
Or joy,
Or gratitude.
Really soak this in as you see from your eyes and give them love and compassion and wisdom.
And feel the flow of your compassion and love to them.
And see how it heals any wounds that need healing.
And if it feels right,
And with your child's permission,
You can reach out and hold your inner child's hand.
And really allowing that compassion and love and wisdom to flow through your body to theirs.
As if a radiant healing light flows from your heart and radiates and flows to their body.
Filling them up with a warm inner glow that spreads from their hands through their shoulders up the back.
Spreading from head to toe this effortless love and compassion that heals the heart and heals any and all wounds.
So that your inner child is embraced by this endless love,
This endless compassion,
And is protected from any and all worries and concerns moving forward.
And you can give them a gift now.
A gift that symbolizes your care,
Your protection,
And your abundant compassion.
And this gift can take any form or shape that means something so significant for you and for them.
That demonstrates your bond and your commitment to your inner child.
To honor,
To respect,
To love and protect this inner child of yours.
Go ahead and allow them to enjoy the gift.
See the shift in their mind and body,
The joy and the bliss,
As they enjoy this gift that you have given them.
You really absorb and savor these wonderful feelings as your heart is healed and your inner child's heart is healed.
With this gift,
Giving the conscious and unconscious commitment to the connection,
The radical acceptance,
And the abundant love that you have for your inner self.
Feeling the warmth of this love and respect and compassion so that you can feel it with you always.
That whenever you need a boost of love and compassion,
You can remember this gift.
This gift from the heart and the connection and bond that you have with your inner child.
Letting them know that you are here to keep them safe.
You are here to honor and love them.
You are here to provide them all the needs that they need in order to feel safe and feel like a child again.
Because your love and your compassion is the antidote.
And your inner child simply wants to give and receive love,
And you can have it flow freely,
Easily,
And effortlessly now.
Because you realize now that you are the person that they trust.
You are the one who will keep them safe,
Who will give them unconditional love.
You are the one that will make this world feel safe.
You'll be here first thing in the morning and the last moment at night tucking them into bed.
And the interesting thing is,
In order for you to give this unconditional love,
You must also allow yourself to receive it.
And you can be more open to receiving this love to yourself,
For yourself,
From yourself,
Just as easy as it is to breathe in and out and open up to the feelings of abundant compassion and love.
And as you share these feelings of giving and receiving love,
Allow this love and compassion to flow from your kind eyes to theirs.
Really connect deeper and deeper.
Understanding that this is a renewable resource,
That this love is abundant,
And this compassion continues to renew itself each and every day.
And you can feel these feelings of compassion and love beat deeply in your heart,
Hearts beating in unity,
Feeling your heart center expand and radiate with these pleasant feelings of trust,
Respect,
And compassion.
And this glowing,
Wonderful flow flows through like the light of a sunrise,
Expanding your heart and its ability to love,
To give and receive love.
And while this happens,
Your inner child's heart begins to expand as well,
Expanding with love and compassion and trust and safety,
So that they can feel the best parts about being a child,
What it's like to be young,
Curious,
Joyful,
And playful.
And you can remember these words of joy,
Play,
Delight,
And freedom,
And feel this renewed love of life and love of self expand through every part of your body.
Every bone,
Every ligament,
Every cell of your body being filled with this joy of love and radical compassion.
So that you can be the light and spread the light of giving and receiving that love to yourself easily and effortlessly.
Finding expected and unexpected ways to show yourself love and compassion each and every day.
And so all those unhelpful self-talk,
Outdated beliefs can dissipate and disappear,
While this unconditional love and radical compassion begin to rewrite positive self-talk,
Affirming beliefs.
Because there's a new dialogue that takes place between a parent and a child.
Self-talk that is positive,
Affirming,
And compassionate,
And radically accepting.
To feel a new level of safety in the world.
To feel a new level of trust in yourself.
To feel a higher level of confidence and compassion.
Because you carry the key of your love right in your heart.
And you can touch your heart space to remind yourself of this pure center of love,
Your child self,
That has entrusted you as a home,
That you will continue to take care of,
Nourish and protect and enjoy.
Because you are the home for your child self.
You are the loving parent.
You are the compassionate protector.
And from now on,
You will say and think and behave in loving ways to yourself,
For yourself,
And for your child self too.
You will be amazed at the compassionate words you say to yourself,
And the compassionate actions and gestures and gifts you continue to give yourself.
Because each and every day,
Now looking forward to the future,
You will see yourself through the eyes of love and compassion.
The next morning when you wake up,
You will put one hand to your heart,
A reminder to your child self inside,
And see yourself in the mirror.
Even talking to yourself in the mirror,
Through the loving eyes of compassion,
With the wisdom and understanding of your higher,
Wiser self.
Because every day,
In every way,
You will grow more and more loving,
More and more self-compassionate.
And you will find that it's easy and effortless to practice self-compassion,
Whether it's listening to this meditation on a nightly basis,
Or going to sleep at the same time every night,
Or giving yourself permission to rest and enjoy and delight in your favorite hobbies.
So go ahead and really enjoy the shifts in your mind and body and in your life,
As all the necessary changes are taking place,
And you will continue to drift and dream,
Having loving dreams of healing.
And if there's any other healing that needs to be done,
You will continue to do it peacefully and safely,
In the forms of loving dreams,
Affirming to yourself that loving intention,
So that you can enjoy this life for yourself,
With radical compassion and love.
I'll give you some time to enjoy and delight and savor all these positive changes that you are making now for yourself,
While you drift and dream and have delightful dreams tonight.
And until the time is right for you to wake up,
You'll have deep restful sleep and be able to wake up filled with energy,
Positivity and optimism,
And the compassion just flows through you,
Day in and day out.
So enjoy the differences that you are making,
With the love that you share for yourself and your inner child.
