Hello Brilliant Being,
This is Dr.
Liz Sloan Enna.
It's time to unwind your mind and welcome sleep now.
I'm welcoming and inviting you to enjoy this guided experience so that you can better calm yourself,
To unwind the mind and relax so you can deeply and easily fall asleep and stay asleep tonight.
I hope you find that this transformational session will be especially useful for you so that you can let go of what no longer serves you,
Quiet the mind and let go of any unwanted busyness so that you can let go of thinking and doing and shift more into feeling and being so that you can enjoy a transformational and deeply healing sleep tonight.
And you may find yourself fast asleep before the end of the session and that's completely okay because your unconscious mind will listen and absorb and use any and all helpful suggestions so that you can get the rest you deserve.
And if you haven't already,
Make sure you are in the place and position where you can welcome sleep now and give yourself all conscious permissions to deeply and completely benefit in your own way because the day is done and rest is needed now.
Now it's very likely that you've been listening to this introduction in my words.
You may have already felt an urge to close down your eyes in that familiar resting fashion.
After all,
That's what we do when we lie down our heavy heads.
Our eyes just close and it signals our body and minds to unwind and it's now completely okay to take this first few delightful steps towards moving deeper and deeper to more and more rest and rejuvenation.
To welcome the wisdom within and that inner peacefulness within.
And if you haven't already,
You can close down the eyes even more deeply so,
Even closing down the mind's eye because it's time for sleep now and there's nothing you have to do and nothing you have to try to do.
Just allow my words flow and guide you.
Allow my words to go with you like a lullaby slowly and softly lulling you to a beautiful place that is calm and uniquely your own.
You may have already have a safe beautiful place in mind and you can go there now so that all five of your senses become alive in this beautiful place that allows effortless ease and comfort that all worries are left at that door so that your mind and body can rest deeply here.
And if you would like a little more ease and perhaps five percent more comfort in the body and mind,
I welcome you to place a heartfelt intention so that you can rest deeply now.
I am resting deeply and peacefully.
I am choosing to unwind my mind.
I am here to let go of what no longer serves me.
I am in charge of my mind.
I choose peace and inner stillness and whenever words most resonate with you,
Go ahead and repeat them two more times so that that healing mantra can rest deeply in your being so that every bone,
Every muscle,
Every cell of your being is resting deeply now.
Very good.
And you may start to notice the pleasant shifts and changes in your body and mind.
Noticing the subtle changes that you know and feel.
That you are deeply resting now.
Noticing as the body does rest and relax,
Sensations come and go.
Perhaps there's more lightness or heaviness in the body and mind so that you deeply sink into your pillow and feel the comfort of your sheets,
The warmth around you,
The pleasant coolness at the top and tip of your nose.
And after a while of this awareness,
It's very likely your mind begins to drift and dream and wander,
Wandering even more into that peaceful,
Safe place that is uniquely your own.
Simply enjoying this peaceful floating and drifting sensation so much so that you can mindfully observe the thoughts that wash over you.
The thoughts can drift on by like clouds in the sky or even leaves down a cool,
Calm river stream because you know thoughts are not facts and you are not your thoughts.
You are merely observing your thoughts,
Just watching them as they play.
And you can shift your attention more towards your own breathing.
And just like that,
Mindfully shifting.
And I welcome you to take a few deep deep breaths,
Three or four more deliberate inhalations,
Breathing in through the nose and then breathing out through the mouth,
Noticing the natural rise and fall of your chest and stomach,
Feeling how the body naturally relaxes again and again,
Breath by breath,
Sinking a little deeper each time with each out.
And now allow your breath to return to its natural soothing rhythm and enjoying the comfort that it rocks you to sleep easily and effortlessly.
And notice that your breath has its own unique flow,
Just as your thoughts have their own flow.
And you become more and more observant over time of the natural cycles of each breath and each thought,
Knowing that we can't breathe into the future,
And we can't breathe into the past.
We can only breathe now.
And if you would like to go a little deeper,
Even more in stillness,
You can do so by just enjoying wherever your mind takes you into even deeper,
Your beautiful,
Calm place.
And I welcome you to take a seat in this beautiful place that is your own.
Perhaps there's even a bed,
A delightful bed that you can rest and recline even deeply than before.
And as you do,
You look above you and notice the moonlight,
The full moon,
So peaceful,
Glowing as if from the inside out.
And if you would like deep healing,
You can see the moon's light begin to cascade towards you,
A white,
Warm,
Shimmery light that flows from the moon and bathes you in light,
Feeling this pleasantness from the crown of your head and taking even more time to enjoy this sense of serenity unfolding and cascading around you and inside you,
Calmly washing like waves over,
Smoothing and softening anything that needs to be smooth and softened in your body and mind.
And the light cascades down your scalp,
Releasing tension in the brow,
Even in your cheeks.
The little muscles in your eyes can relax even deeply now,
Even your nose,
Your jaw can soften,
Your tongue can soften,
Even the gums can relax.
And as you feel this moonlight flowing down your face,
Down your neck,
Any and all stiffness is disappearing.
Any and all tension or burdens that were once held on your shoulders are lifting,
Dissolving.
All the tightness is loosened away from the chest so that your heart is open,
Willing to receive this deep healing rest.
And as the chest muscles expand to open with ease,
Your lungs open with ease,
Allowing your breath to flow easily and effortlessly,
And you can enjoy the moonlight flowing down,
Feeling better and better and better to loosen and let go,
That even your wrists and hands,
Every single finger,
Can release any and all tension.
So it rests gently on your back,
Feeling the moonlight giving you a delightful massage down your back,
Softening,
Soothing,
Letting go of what no longer serves you,
And feeling the natural release of your spine as it rests deeply on your back.
It's almost as if these sensations are so familiar to you,
Like putting on a cozy and familiar and loved jacket or blanket,
So that you are wrapped up in deep peace,
So that the healing energy flows through all your vital organs,
Healing what needs to be healed,
And healing and flowing your legs down to your knees and ankles,
And flowing to every single toe,
Finding that softness and stillness in this moment,
And feeling those waves of relaxation flowing on the back of your legs,
Onto your heels,
Down to the soles of your feet,
As if your entire body now is being massaged,
And any and all physical or mental tension and tightness simply melts away because you are so deeply calm,
At ease,
And deeply relaxed now.
So that your mind can drift and dream,
Go on vacation,
And your unconscious can allow you all these brilliant,
Beautiful healing imagery that you can rest and enjoy now.
Because as you are enjoying this beautiful space,
Your unconscious mind can learn a few new things about how to adjust your mind,
Your conscious mind,
To be more mindful,
To adjust all the deeper settings and the deepest programming dials,
Down to the deepest core level,
Perhaps even seeing a dial that you can adjust to the right and natural degree of being more mindful,
Whatever that degree or level is right for you.
So that level that you can place it and lock it in place allows you to let go of unhelpful thinking patterns,
Allowing mindfulness to be an automatic state of mind so that your inner wisdom can speak to you,
Allowing you new,
Creative insights and ways of being that honor your higher,
Wiser self.
And you can feel those changes and shifts taking place now,
In your body and in your mind,
So that even the environment around you is an authentic place of power,
Of mindful ease,
Where you are ready to receive all of your most powerful insights,
To have your dreams be reality.
Now as you arrive in this place,
You feel the absolute vastness of your infinite potential,
Deep,
Insightful learning.
Perhaps you see yourself there,
Your highest,
Wisest self,
Your mindful self,
Perhaps even dressed in a special way,
Dressed in beautiful or ornate,
Ancient robes,
Or any way that you choose that represents sage wisdom.
And as you drift and dream,
You easily walk and drift and float to become your highest,
Wisest being,
Stepping into your own innate wisdom and power.
Because you are ready to open and receive these healing insights and wisdom,
Which in all can be deeply understood,
Deeply absorbed,
And deeply acted upon in the exact healthy way you choose.
And as you take a look around,
Really seeing you and your infinite potential,
You can see before you a powerful crystal mirror.
And so you move over there and see your stunning reflection.
And this mirror shines back to you,
And you see the many images of your own very best,
Ideal,
Wisest,
Healthiest self,
Seeing all the amazing things that you do and have done and will do that are aligned to your highest,
Wisest self.
And as you look closer into the mirror,
Upon closer inspection,
You can also see the parts of you that are often hidden,
The parts of you that were previously resistant to change,
Or healthy behaviors,
Or mindful ways of thinking and being.
And seeing these parts of yourself with compassion and wisdom,
You are beginning to understand so much more now,
With a more clear,
Comfortable view,
Why it was hard at one time.
And if you so choose,
You may reach out to that place and place your hands into that silvery surface of the mirror,
And directly and permanently change whatever you wish to change within you,
By your own hands,
Your own wisdom,
Your own passion,
And your own passion.
And you can begin to do that now,
Reaching out,
Shifting and changing and transforming those parts of you that need your care and compassion and wisdom.
And as you continue to gaze calmly and clearly on your own habits of the mind,
Reaching out to that mirrored surface,
Allowing your wisdom and compassion to flow through you,
To you,
So it becomes more a part of you,
Bringing about powerful shifts and changes,
And new solutions to old habits and old patterns,
That will be new solutions and new patterns that are aligned to your higher,
Wiser self.
That's right,
New solutions for every positive change to your habits of thinking that you are now deciding to make.
Because there's a profound revelation to realize with new,
Compassionate,
Curious,
Mindful eyes,
How you can observe your thoughts and feelings and sensations mindfully,
Curiously,
No longer being hooked by thoughts or rumination,
But in fact being liberated from unhelpful thinking patterns and unhelpful habits that limit you.
Because you're liberating yourself,
Unshackling yourself,
And seeing yourself for who you really are,
A brilliant being,
So that you can see those old parts of you transforming before your very eyes,
In that mirror,
Seeing them release those frustrations,
Let go of obstacles,
Worries,
And concerns,
Unstucking yourself,
So that all those parts of you can move forward in helpful,
Healthy ways,
Taking with them the wisdom,
The compassion,
And the mindfulness that they need most.
And what a wonderful relief it is to let go of what no longer serves you,
And welcome in,
Like a wonderful gift,
This ease,
This compassion,
This wisdom that will allow expected and unexpected changes to begin.
Being able to fall asleep quickly and easily and effortlessly each and every day,
Because the mind can unwind easily and effortlessly,
Allowing deep delta wave sleep each and every night,
So that every time that you rest your head on your comfortable pillow,
Your mind will unwind and release any unhelpful thoughts and sensations,
So that you can welcome sleep now,
Because my words will go with you,
And help you,
And your words will go with you,
And help you,
And when you are sleeping better,
You feel better,
And when you feel better,
You think better,
And when you think better,
You think better,
You act better,
Allowing you to do all the things that you need to do to be your higher,
Wiser self,
Feeling your power of creating these meaningful changes in your life now,
Because it feels so much better inside of yourself to know you've made all of your own decisions to finally let go completely,
So that you can be still and listen to your inner wisdom,
Knowing what needs to be done and easily doing it,
Feeling that inner richness in all parts of you to work harmoniously together and in the future,
Because maybe your sleepiest self is now hearing all these helpful messages to go to bed consistently at the same time each and every night,
And waking up consistently at the same time each and every morning,
And waking up as soon as your first alarm goes off,
So that you can wake up with energy,
Positivity,
And ease,
And enjoying your routine,
To allow sleep and positivity to come to you each and every day,
Because your sleepy mind now understands that all those things that you once called were problems that were carried for too long can be put down now and forever be released,
So that you can enjoy easy,
Effortless,
Deep sleep each and every night.
So see yourself doing all the healthy,
Helpful things to get the rest you deserve.
Seeing your sleepy self embody your healthy,
Higher,
Wiser self,
And in that mirror,
Seeing you do all the healthy,
Helpful things that provide that deep,
Rejuvenating rest,
And enjoying the dreams that you have,
That will continue to cultivate creativity,
Wisdom,
And joy,
Because you are seeing and knowing and feeling yourself as someone who is no longer weighed down by so much thought or by those past styles of overthinking and overanalyzing,
Because you shift from thinking to being,
Being more and more and more each and every day,
Integrating and accepting all of this meaning,
So that you can truly live and truly rest and sleep now,
Completely in this deeply relaxing,

This is my go to favorite sleep meditation. It works so well that once on a plane I listened to the entire track while awake, and had no idea how great the middle and ending was—because I had slept through those parts so many times.
