Liz and I'm so glad you're here to unwind your mind and welcome sleep now.

Release all worries and concerns so you can fall asleep quickly and blissfully tonight.
I would like you to take a few minutes to get 5% more comfortable in your bed.
That's right.
Make any and all adjustments to your body to bring even more relaxation to the mind.
Sink into your pillow even more.
Notice the warmth of your soft sheets settling even deeper into your bed.
Feel the tiredness of your eyes and the heaviness of your body.
You may already be ahead of me and you can close down the eyes even more,
Allowing the eyes to rest even more.
So that even the tiniest muscles around the eyes can soften and relax and sleep.
Good.
The day is officially done and you have nothing you have to do right now.
Just listening to my voice,
Enjoying the comfort of your bed,
Breathing and being.
Because each and every breath that you take will guide you deeper and deeper into a delightful sleepy trance.

And now releasing all tension out of your body and mind.
Feel that welcome release and that effortless expanse as you breathe out.
And the effortless fall of the breath as you breathe out,
Giving yourself full and complete permission to let go of what no longer serves you.
Breathing out that tension,
Let it go,
Let it flow and drift deeper and deeper into this serenity,
Enjoying this natural release,
This effortless sleepy state.
And you can return to a natural soothing breathing rhythm that may be deeper and more peaceful now and releasing the hands to fall to your sides and finding a position that will welcome sleep now.

And in the still serenity,
You are able to declutter your mind and if perhaps,
If per chance there's an unhelpful thought,
A thought that just can't let go of,
You can finally let go of that heavy thought.
Let it go out of your mind because you are not your thoughts.
Realizing that you are not your thoughts is so very free,
Like a weight has been lifted.
And you can let that thought go by seeing this thought as a post-it note,
A post-it note of whatever color best suits that thought.
And whatever thought that impedes your deep wave sleep can be placed in this golden bubble in front of you.
That's right.
Place any unhelpful thoughts right into this golden bubble so it can free up your mind,
Declutter your mind so you can let go of what no longer serves you.
So you can drift and dream freely,
Weightlessly.
Drift and dream,
Dream and drift.
So that golden bubble you can see safely contains those thoughts,
Those post-it notes and all of them effortlessly rises up,
Up,
Up,
Up,
Further into the sky,
Further and further and further and further away.
That it drifts so far away it leaves the atmosphere,
Goes into galaxies far away so that you can no longer see it.
It's no longer part of your conscious awareness or your unconscious awareness so that you can feel 10 times more relaxed now.
And with this release you can relax even deeper and see in front of you your sleep palace.
This sleep palace has everything you need for deep,
Restful,
Rejuvenating sleep.
And this sleep palace can be anywhere you wish.
It may be perched high on a mountaintop overlooking the miles of evergreen trees and the flowing river streams.
Or perhaps your sleep palace is at a five-star luxury hotel with plush white sheets,
A plethora of pillows,
And a velvet robe engraved with your initials.
Whatever your perfect sleep palace is,
Allow your mind to drift and dream and explore your sleep palace with all five of your senses.
All five of your senses becoming alive in the sleep palace to relax you so that you can enjoy this deep peace and comfort more and more.
Deeply.
So that every muscle,
Every bone,
Every cell of your being is calm,
Relaxed,
And ready for sleep now.
And as you drift deeper into this sweet stillness and deep slow wave sleep,
