This is an experiential practice of living the ideals of your life here and of the present.
Meditation opens you to listen more deeply to the world within and to calibrate your inner world.
With the perceptions you live in the world around you.
This means that the inner peace that you witness becomes the peace that you live in your waking moments,
In your life.
And in all of your encounters with others.
In meditation you are invited to listen deeper in and of the space that you exist in.
In the harmony that you begin to notice you are in vibration with.
It's often easier to notice your inner calm when you are alone with yourself and attentive,
Intentionally observant.
As you appreciate cultivating a peaceful and serene way of being,
It's likely you will quite deliberately create calm in your environment as an important way to feel soothed,
Grounded,
And peaceful.
Meditation itself helps you to become attuned to your physical environment.
You hear the sounds of children playing downstairs.
The neighbor's dog barking as someone walks by on the street.
The ambient music playing in the background.
The furnace that just turned off.
Maybe you have observed your brain noticing what feels like neurons firing up.
You experience yourself awakening to your full cognitive functioning.
This is often aided with the deep breaths.
The longer exhalations,
The mindful presence to each moment,
Cultivating alertness in the mind and a sense of relaxation of the body.
This is how you engage with each present moment.
You understand what it means to be.
There is nothing before and nothing beyond.
This moment and the next,
And the next,
As you live in a state of flow.
From one intentional activity to the next.
And a gentle ease of noticing.
Your inner world of calm and presence attuning in each moment to your inner life.
If you are in nature,
Which is a beautiful and also lush source for awareness and noticing.
Allow yourself to be a oneness with your environment.
In self-guided meditation.
And a practice of open awareness.
You notice the flow of your consciousness,
Including the visual impressions that formulate in the mind spontaneously.
You become keenly perceptive in ways that you have not noticed before.
Impressions based upon what inspires you and the faithful desires you hold.
At times,
Solutions to questions,
Insights,
And answers that you have needed.
The openness of the mind and of the present invites new thought forms and ideas to be present,
To linger here.
You will choose if you prefer to take action.
Sometimes a notepad allows for a place to record what inspiration arises.
You can be aware of your inner world and the busy nature of your mind and then return to the present moment of breath,
Of breath guiding you into here and now.
Meditation is a place for you to exist in.
In the world inside your mind,
And also in the sensory perceptions of the heart,
Generated with each present moment experience.
At times with memories and also the new ideas and formulations that arise.
Meditation is a place for you to exist in the space and time of now.
Where in your life do you allow this?
Why is meditation,
And the presence of each moment,
A spiritual path unto itself,
And the path of enlightenment?
Because the present moment and each moment that you live fully awake is all that you ever have.
It is what you have and it is enough to feel all of the blessings of your life.
Meditation can be a place where you are able to face the fears you've been keeping a secret.
In your practice,
It can be a time in which you let go.
Of the insecurities that cause you to doubt and avoid action.
During practice,
Meditation can be a safe and secure place.
In which to imagine a future ideal?
A new behavior as a part of you.
A conscious choice that fuels greater possibility and freedom.
It's time.
To step up into being more than you already are because you have wanted to stretch beyond what you have always done.
To give something new a try,
To live more aligned with your truth,
Your purpose,
Your desired and chosen destiny.
Will you decide now to materialize all of the impending goals and dreams that you have?
In this time and space of the present.
You release any pressure,
Any burden.
And reclaim the joy and all of the abundance that you desire.
In this meditative space of awakened grace,
You feel life in its beautiful balance.
Always.
In support of you.
Become clear about what you want.
Hold this experience and the feelings of its certainty close as you take the action steps in physical form.
The birth of meditation is a call to action.
It is a calling to practice as much as possible living in the totality of the present.
Together with all that is desire.
Like the imagining that you are guided to in your mind's eye during the practice of meditation.
The practice teaches you to live this awakened witnessing.
To all that is desired here and now.
For as much as you can envision and dream.
You then need to step into the life you claim,
Living it first in your mind and out of your heart.
Your inner sanctuary is what builds and sustains your outer life.
As we prepare to practice together,
The aim is to be attentive to the peace that lives of you.
Peace is from where you witness the inner sanctuary of healing and love.
That fosters the ever-present witnessing of pure light.
Pure ease,
Pure emancipation.
From a place of peace and calm,
You become one with your inner being and your highest self.
Your spiritual self can awaken the highest ideals that your human self may then contemplate.
As you contemplate what are your highest ideals for your life,
Meditation opens the door.
In quieting the mind and returning to an inner state of peace,
You allow the mysteries of life to flow through you.
You become an active observer of life in this awakened state.
Outside of your meditation practice.
Be open to the wonder and insight as you realize everything is possible.
Visualize your mind and your heart open to the truth that finds you here and in the certain privilege and honor of love and of you being loved.
Being love is living as a being of love in the world,
In each moment.
It is choosing love over fear.
It is choosing love and kindness rather than the need of the ego mind to be right,
Better than,
In competition with another.
It is choosing to be loving with firm boundaries when someone is unkind,
Angry.
Or aggressive.
You can be loving and still uphold the boundaries that keep you safe and protected,
And then find a different time and space to speak your truth.
To change what you do,
You need to believe in the outcome.
You need to have proof,
Or at the very least faith,
That what you are doing is an important part of the resolve to get you there.
As you adjust and hold consistent to the goals,
The ideals,
And the intentions that drive your right actions,
Live open and expressive to the inner nature of your heart.
Perceptive organ,
One that holds the same type of neurons that are also in the brain,
And which sense the non-physical nature of life that your mind cannot.
This makes the heart an important tool for finding your right answers,
For leading you to what you need,
And for sensing and feeling based on knowing yourself well and allowing yourself to be inspired.
By the ideas that you remain open to.
The excitement you feel.
Will build and sustain the momentum of what you want to experience,
Have,
Be.
Do.
Accomplish and live in your outer world.
This is your first step.
Right now with me,
Let's together witness the space and time of now,
Of presence,
And for the next five minutes.
Begin here,
Because in five minutes,
Your whole life can change.
You can change how you feel and your energy state.
All in the space and time of the present.
You can feel immense appreciation for all of the good that is.
You can recall one thing from yesterday or earlier today or this week that you did simply for yourself.
Or an experience you shared in with another living being.
All of which existed.
In the first place because you allowed yourself to open to it and to make it happen.
You can also in the space of five minutes open yourself to witness the divine and the spiritual opening to exactly what you need.
In this moment and beyond.
As I prepare the space for a five-minute practice,
Find a comfortable posture.
See what feels most natural for you.
Eyes open or closed.
Your practice is to notice,
To feel,
To awaken to your inner senses.
There are no rules,
No restrictions,
Just the simple release into the present moment.
Into now.
You may have some music in the background,
Or join me in silence.
As you continue to listen and attend to what is.
Be amazed by what you notice.
Inside the vast and infinite world of your heart.
And your experience as oneness with the cosmos.
Lastly,
Let your breath lead you as would an inner GPS.
Should you step away from your inner experience,
Notice that you have?
And find your breath once more.
Place your focus here.
Ride the waves of breath that lead you far deeper into yourself.
I'll begin our time at the sound of the Tingsha bells.
And I'll be right here with you,
Ending our five-minute practice of being.
With another ringing of these Tibetan bells.
One final tip before we begin.
You may want to repeat a word or mantra to help remind you of where you are and where your attention is to be.
Right here.
In now.
Enjoy this beautiful sojourn.
Be open for what awaits you.
Your mind.
And heart as one.
Some days you will crave to be in the space and time of now for a little longer than five minutes.
Do indulge yourself.
Every day you can make this practice happen at least twice.
Once to set the intentions of the day as peace and calm and love,
As they exist as a part of you.
And once at bedtime,
To soften and ease the flow of life from the day that you've just lived.
Into the primordial space and time with which you allow for gentle release into new present moments.
You may also wish to enjoy this five-minute practice at any other time in which you need to feel the timelessness of the present.
I'm also going to encourage you to begin a 30-day practice challenge.
Each day,
Five minutes of meditation of witnessing the present twice daily.
Record your experiences,
Feel the depth of wonder that you begin to build as appreciation and love and tenderness for yourself.
Drop me a note to say,
Yes,
I'm in.
I'm taking this journey.
Into myself.
Do leave your comments and feedback.
From the experience you've just had right here.
This is your birth into meditation,
In free form,
The way it best exists for you.
I'm so grateful that you are right here with me.
Meditation will change your life beyond what you think is possible.
Watch,
Live,
