Meditation Timer OnlineDoron is a meditation teacher dedicated to creating accessible, practical guided meditations. With a lifelong background in studying the mind - first through philosophy of mind, then neuroscience, and later the early Buddhist texts - Doron brings a unique depth to teaching. Drawing on over three decades of meditation practice, his guided meditations closely follow the Buddha’s original instructions as preserved in the early Pali canon. He has trained at UC San Diego's Center for Integrative Health, completing both the MBSR course and the ten-week teacher training foundations class in MBSR. His main training was with the Engaged Mindfulness Institute, where he earned certification as an EMI Mindfulness Facilitator and as a CMT-P mindfulness teacher by the IMTA. Doron also trained with the Prison Mindfulness Institute, qualifying to facilitate the Path of Freedom curriculum. Since 2024, he has volunteered to teach mindfulness in Philadelphia prisons and has also facilitated mindfulness classes in his local community.
