So coming into a comfortable seated position where your spine can be straight.
Maybe that's an easy pose.
Maybe that's sitting on your knees,
Heels on your glutes.
Maybe that's simply sitting on a chair,
Allowing the soles of your feet to reach the ground.
Just taking a moment to invite yourself into this experience.
Using your sensations to bring you into this moment.
Maybe that's the feeling of the seat or the earth underneath you.
Maybe that's the movement of your chest and shoulders as you take an inhale and an exhale.
Maybe that's the expansion of the belly.
Maybe you can even feel your heart beating.
Not changing anything,
Just noticing your breath,
Noticing your body,
Observing your mind.
Without any judgment,
Just observing and noticing where you'd like a little more air and ease to flow in with this meditation.
Letting go of any moment that happened in your day,
Any moment in the past,
And any memory or feeling attached to those moments in the past,
And just letting go.
Maybe that means bringing that thought or feeling into the awareness,
And with your next exhale you can gently letting that go.
And then removing any anticipation you may have of a future moment.
Maybe it's something you're looking forward to,
Maybe it's something you hope not to happen.
Whatever anticipation you're holding outside this present moment in a time that is to come,
Just letting that go and realizing this is the only moment that exists,
And that full presence in this moment will take you where you need to go.
Trusting that by accepting each moment and by bringing your full self into each moment is exactly where you need to be.
And by being exactly where you need to be,
You trust in the process,
In the larger scheme of things that we may not understand,
But trusting that we are playing our role in the good divine.
