Hello and welcome to this meditation.

In this meditation,

We'll be creating a pathway to heaven using the support of the breath,

As well as visualizations and the mantra of the breath.

This meditation can be done in a comfortable seated position.

It can also be done laying down.

Ensuring the spine is straight in the position that you choose.

So if you're laying down,

Ensuring that you're laying down on a flat surface,

Maybe on a mat,

Even on your bed,

Allowing the head to be neutral.

If you're sitting down,

Just allowing the spine to be straight.

Once you've found your comfortable position,

Gently closing the eyes.

The very act of closing our eyes intentionally allows us to shift our awareness inwards,

Slowly beginning to tap within.

Noticing the inner realm and temporarily letting go of the external world.

For the next few moments,

I invite you to use your breath as a tool to keep you into the present moment,

But also as a tool to bring you into the psychic passage.

This is a powerful meditative technique where we'll be using the ujjayi breath,

Also known as the ocean's breath or psychic breath,

Where we create a slight restriction in the throat as we inhale and exhale through the nose.

If this is the first time you practice ujjayi,

Pretending you're about to fog up a glass with your mouth open,

Creating a sound and then attempting to do the same with the mouth closed.

Exhales can sometimes be easier than the inhales when we create the restriction in the throat,

But with time,

The practice becomes easier and eventually becomes only audible to the practitioner.

So slowly beginning to practice a few rounds of ujjayi together,

Exhaling all the air out to prepare.

Let's take a nice deep inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Now with your next inhale,

Imagining a thin silver light beginning at the root,

Traveling through the spinal column,

Joining the root up into the third eye,

The space in between the eyebrows.

And with your exhale,

Imagining that thin silver light traveling from the third eye down into the root,

Traveling down the column of the spine.

Inhale.

Thin silver light traveling from the root up the spine,

Up into the third eye.

Exhale.

From the third eye down into the roots.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Beginning to add the mantra of the breath into the practice.

With every inhale,

Mentally.

Now slowly beginning to add the mantra of the breath into the practice.

With every inhale,

Mentally repeating the word so.

And with every exhale,

Mentally repeating the sound hum.

So.

So.

Hum.
