Namaste and a very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,
Dhyansi.
We're meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairar Tantra.
A meditation master was living on top of a hill in a small hut.
And as he was outside that hill,
A thief entered his cottage.
A thief entered his hut and looked for things around.
It was an empty hut,
Almost nothing in that hut.
And in this middle of him searching for what he was finding something valuable,
The master entered into the hut and as soon as the thief saw the master,
He looked at the window wanting to quickly jump out of the window.
The master said,
Wait,
Since you are here,
Let me give you something.
He immediately took his clothes off,
That was the only thing that he had,
Gave it to that thief.
Thief was completely baffled.
What is happening?
He just could not see and understand what was happening.
Took the clothes,
He ran out of the window and disappeared.
The master looked out of the window,
He looked at the moon,
He was completely naked.
He said,
What poor guy,
I wish I could have given him this glorious moon.
Had he been here,
Had he come and be here with me,
I would have given him this glorious moon.
But he left in a hurry.
You joining these sessions every morning or once in a while,
You come here,
The way you are in these sessions,
If you are in a hurry.
If you are looking for something in a hurry,
What could I give you?
Nothing but few things here and there.
But if you are here to stay,
If you are here with your heart,
With your mind,
With your spirit,
If you are here with your awareness,
Then there is a possibility of the glorious moon.
If you are here with your mind,
Then how I wish I could give you that glorious moon,
Then there is a possibility that we both look at the moon and have that glorious moon.
So these sessions,
What are happening here,
The way to attend these sessions,
The way to be in these sessions is to be still.
It is to be here not in a hurry,
Not in a search of looking quickly what I can grab,
But rather be receptive and see that there is so much more to receive.
There is a glorious moon to be received only if you learn to be still,
Only if you learn to drop that hurry,
To drop that trying to grasp and quickly move on.
That is the attitude of a meditator,
That is the attitude of a seeker,
Not someone who is hopping in,
Hopping out,
But who is there,
Who is there open and in a receptivity of receiving.
My meditators ask me why I am giving this for free,
Why am I doing this,
What is my motivation and I am also baffled to say what is my motivation.
This is more of an overflow.
This is an overflow that I am sharing with you that I had received and that is now an overflow and there is no wish to receive anything back,
But rather have this sharing with you,
Have this overflow and if you can take something out of that through these sessions,
It is up to you.
It is almost like when the glaciers,
They melt,
Then is a waterfall and the rivers and when you are drinking out of the river,
You never think about the glacier,
You never think about the waterfall and yes,
The waterfall flows into the river,
River flows into the ocean,
Ocean flows back into the clouds,
Clouds bring back the glaciers.
The cycle of nature,
This cycle of existence continues,
It maintains itself.
The only thing we have to do is be with the flow of it and in these sessions,
In this energy,
This meditative energy that we share in these sessions,
All you have to do is be in this receiving,
In this seeking state of stillness.
At the same time,
If you receive,
Then you also give.
How do you give?
You don't have to give back,
You give forward.
Share your silence with others,
Share your love with others,
Share your peace with others.
You don't have to share only the tangibles,
Only the physical of this world,
You can share so much more with everyone around you.
If you see the way we are living,
There are two models of this energy flow,
One which we use for the physical,
Which we use for the material.
That flow is where everything is flowing towards you.
You have learned to let everything flow towards you,
Centering towards yourself,
Creating an ego,
Creating a center of self,
And the whole life you are constantly pushing,
Struggling,
Fighting with everyone else to have this flow towards you,
More and more towards you,
Concentrating more and more towards you.
This may be okay for your work,
This may be okay for the material world,
But for your subjective world,
For your things that are more real,
Your love,
Your compassion,
Your awareness,
Your silence,
The model has to be completely the opposite.
The flow of energy has to be completely the opposite,
Where it is giving.
Where whatever you have,
You pass,
You give,
You share,
And the more you give,
When everyone gives,
First of all,
You don't live this constant conflict,
This constant fight,
This constant stress with everyone else trying to pull everything towards you.
You for the very first time in this liberation of energies.
You see that when everyone is sharing,
When everyone is liberating their energies,
It is such a peaceful ecosystem that is created.
I am not here to give you a U-Topic idea of how to be,
All I am saying is,
You receive,
You give.
In different aspects of your life,
Have different ways of approaching things.
For the real things of life,
This is the model,
To give.
And you will be surprised how much you have to give,
How much you have in you to give.
Right now,
You are only focusing on receiving,
Therefore you don't see what all you have.
Once you start giving,
You see that you are connected to this infinite source of love,
Infinite source of peace,
Infinite source of wisdom.
And once you give,
Once you share,
You see that there is even more to share.
There is this abundance to share,
Which you had never seen before in you.
So,
Not only others are benefitting,
But you yourself are benefitting out of that.
So,
Take this stance of giving back,
Take this stance of giving forward,
Take this stance of giving and sharing this silence,
This love,
This awareness,
Whatever rises in you through these sessions,
Pass it on.
Let us listen to the technique today,
Before we sit in silence,
Before we practice a new technique from Vigyan Bhairava Tantra.
Bhairava says,
One who is perfected listening to the unstruct sound in Anahata,
Uninterrupted like rushing water,
Attains the supreme state of Brahma by mastery of Shabd Brahman.
Let me repeat,
One who has perfected listening to the unstruct sound in Anahata,
Uninterrupted like rushing water,
Attains the supreme state of Brahma by mastery of Shabd Brahman.
What that means is,
This technique is about listening.
This technique is about listening to that unstruct sound,
That which is within you,
Which is constantly flowing.
That is that infinite source of energy,
That infinite source of consciousness that is always there in you.
So here,
Bhairava says,
One who has perfected listening to the unstruct sound in Anahata.
First of all,
This technique,
What it is doing,
It is converting your awareness into a form of listening.
It is saying that the awareness that you say,
I am aware,
You assume,
You give it a form.
The form is of listening.
You listen through your awareness,
Not just through your ears.
This is a different kind of listening.
This is a listening of awareness,
But in this particular technique,
The awareness is taking the shape,
The form of listening.
So here,
Bhairava says,
One who has perfected listening to the unstruct sound.
Normally,
To have any sound,
You need two.
You need a strike for a sound.
But there is an unstruct sound in all of us,
Which is a way to say that there is a flow of energy,
There is a flow of consciousness in us which do not require any strike,
Which happens on its own,
Which is flowing on its own.
And if you see it as a listening,
You will hear that unstruct sound.
Where will you hear it?
You will hear it in Anahata.
You will hear it in your heart.
You will hear it at your heart center,
Because heart center is the abode for your individual consciousness.
For your consciousness,
This is where you have the access point,
Your Anahata,
Your heart center.
So,
Once you perfect that listening,
Once you are so still,
Once you have put all your energies,
All the forms of whatever is arising in your consciousness as a listening,
As an object of listening,
As a sound of listening,
Once you do that,
Slowly you move towards that unstruct sound in your Anahata,
In your silence,
In your thoughtlessness,
In your depths,
You hear,
You come in contact with that unstruct sound in your heart center.
Uninterrupted like rushing water,
Uninterrupted flowing like the glaciers falling down as a waterfall,
Down as the river and merging back into the ocean,
Uninterrupted like rushing water attain the supreme state of Brahma.
Brahma is a representation of pure consciousness as a sound,
As a vibration.
Brahma is a vibration,
Is a vibration which we recognize as sound.
So he says,
Attain the supreme state of Brahma by mastery of Shabd Brahman.
When all the words,
All the vibrations of the words,
All the contents in your consciousness,
All if you break them down into vibrations,
Into sound vibrations and you merge them into one vibration and you listen to that vibration as the unstruct sound,
Then you are in Brahman.
Then you are one with that pure consciousness,
Then you are one with that energy.
So simply put,
How will you do this as a technique?
When you sit in silence,
When you close your eyes,
Many things will come in your awareness.
Thoughts will come,
Emotions will rise,
Many other contents in your consciousness,
Images,
Ideas,
Plans,
Whatever arises in your consciousness,
Break that down as a sound,
As a vibration.
See that the thought that is coming in your head,
In your mind,
It carries certain words.
Those words carry certain sounds.
Those sounds are vibrations.
So break everything down in your consciousness,
All the contents in your consciousness,
Your thoughts,
Your emotions,
Even the images that you see,
The ideas,
The distractions being carried away,
All of that,
Break it down into sounds,
Into vibrations and from that vibration,
From that one vibration,
You jump on to the unstruct sound,
The unstruct vibration in your anahata.
It is easier done than understood.
So let us take these next moments to dive within to practice this wonderfully simple technique of listening to the unstruct sound at your anahata center.
Please close your eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.
A sitting posture with your head,
Neck and spine erect.
With every breath allowing your body to rest,
Your mind to settle.
And shifting awareness inwards in your inner space.
Giving yourself few moments to settle in this awareness of your inner space.
And observing what all is arising in falling back in your consciousness.
Notice your thoughts,
Your emotions,
Anything that arises in your consciousness.
And as you observe these thoughts,
These contents,
See them as a vibration,
Hear them as a sound.
Every thought that arises is just a vibration.
Break everything that arises in your consciousness into its vibration.
Awareness in your inner space,
Observing whatever is arising in your consciousness,
Breaking it down into vibrations.
And all these vibrations to merge in silence.
From your senses to the vibration to the silence.
From your mind to the vibrations to the silence.
From your mind to the vibrations to the silence.
Everything merges.
Everything merges into silence.
All vibrations merge,
Dissolve into silence.
All vibrations merge,
Dissolve into silence.
Your thoughts into vibrations into silence.
And as the stillness grows in you,
The silence settles in you.
Shift your awareness to your heart center.
And listen to the silence.
Listen to the unstruct sound.
And as the stillness grows in you,
The silence settles in you.
And as the stillness grows in you,
The silence settles in you.
No more effort.
No more focus.
No more silence.
Only the unstruct sound remains.
No more silence.
In this field of vibration,
Only the unstruct sound of silence.
And very gently and slowly.
Bringing your awareness back to the body.
Back to your mind.
And gently open your eyes.
Remaining immersed in this unstruct sound.
The sound of silence.
The vibrations of pure consciousness.
Of pure awareness.
That flows in you,
That flows through you,
That flows all around you.
Take that vibration,
That unstruct sound of silence in your heart,
In your daily life.
If you wish to share your silence,
Your love,
Your awareness,
Something that you have to share with the rest of the meditators who share this space.
Who are in this moment connected from all parts of the world.
If you wish to continue that connection beyond these sessions,
You can do that by joining the community that we had recently formed.
If you have that interest,
If you have that calling,
Please write me an email and share your interest,
Share what you would like to give and I will take it from there.
Thank you very much once again.
Namaste.
