Atisha is imploring you to go all-in on meditation, awareness, silence because he knows that your mind will try to hold you back. It will give you reasons why not to go beyond boundaries. It will never let you be the master. You have to go wholeheartedly into meditation.

Namaste and a very warm welcome to all of you in this daily morning live meditation session with me the answer spiritual process is made to restore your natural self if you take a camera and make a time-lapse of a flower coming out of the bud shining bright having the fragrance coming out and eventually fading away if you make a time-lapse of a flower you will see that the entire process is very natural at no point from the very beginning the birth of the flower of the bud and the death of the flower and rotting it away this entire process is very natural you will have no questions about the naturalness of this entire process but if you do the same with a human being if you capture the entire life of a human being on a camera or some method of observation where you will see a human being from the very first moment from the very first moment of birth to the childhood to the adolescence to the adulthood to the senior life and eventually death if you capture this entire timeline and see this timeline of a human being and the growth and the transformation of human being on this timeline and if you do this unbiasedly you will have several question marks on the naturalness of this entire process the aging is natural but something in a human being changes from natural to unnatural somehow along the process of life there's something about a human being the some some elements of unnatural nests that arise from somewhere and then the human being is carrying that unnatural element or elements in them forever making them carry this burden of unhappiness of unsatisfaction of looking for a way back to being natural human being starts as a natural birth as a natural person but eventually somehow along the way loses the naturalness and then goes astray spirituality is a process to restore this natural aspect of a human being to bring back the person from the astray this unnatural path that he has taken or she has taken to their natural being in that intrinsic natural state there is happiness there is fulfillment there's love there's joy there's compassion there's truth and there is satisfaction in life in the current series of seven point mind training by Ateesha we are almost at a closure we are at the final steps of the training which is to ensure that all what you have learned it's all in its right place there is nothing that is missing Ateesha is very compassionate very considerate for his students and while giving the seventh point he is thinking ahead of the student and ensuring that there are more gaps ensuring that whatever is has been taught whatever has been delivered is really lived let us go through few last sutras Ateesha says train without bias in all areas it is crucial always to do this pervasively and wholeheartedly meditate constantly on those who have been set apart don't be swayed by external circumstances the first part train without bias in all areas see that Ateesha is always reminding you to bring the practice to all areas of your life once again I say to you as well please don't leave the practice of meditation the awareness the silence what you get from the practice don't leave it just to these moments of meditation take them into your life take the awareness the meditative awareness to your life to all aspects of your life even to those moments when you would not expect yourself to be aware to be bringing this meditative awareness you are at work you continue your work but remain aware remain aware maintain this self-awareness of what you're doing what your thoughts are how you are interacting with others what is what are the others saying the entire process build this watchfulness this awareness as a companion in your life which is not just for the moments of meditation but they it remains throughout your life with you in every moment the second part which is emphasized by Ateesha here is to be unbiased how to be unbiased because bias is in the nature of the mind we operate out of the mind mind always takes position to be unbiased is the hardest thing to do and to train oneself to remain in a state to remain in an awareness which is what you can call as no mind where there is no bias where you do not take any position where what you already know is not coming in the way is what Ateesha is referring to as one of the important aspects of training which you might have overlooked so far see that when you are experiencing any situation there are two ways you approach that situation with knowledge and with knowing knowledge is what you had gathered from the past what you have already known and what is collected as your mind and when you approach a situation with that knowledge with that mind you're always biased you you make presumptions about people you make presumptions about situations you judge things too fast Ateesha is saying drop this judgment drop this knowledge drop what you have carried from the past and you're bringing into the present creating a bias not allowing you to experience the situation of the present moment as it is and the second approach is of knowing knowing happens when you don't operate out of knowledge in the moment you're there in this moment you're listening to me you're not validating what you already know if you validate what you already know you are stuck in the knowledge what I'm saying if that matches to what you already know you will listen further if this does not match to what you already know you will be closed to what I am saying so it never allows anything new to happen move from knowledge to knowing that is allowing you to move from being biased to being unbiased allowing you to move from the past to the present to be in this moment and experience the moment as it is then Ateesha says it is crucial to always do this pervasively and wholeheartedly again it's an imploration from Ateesha to put your whole heart to go all in with this awareness if there is one thing throughout this entire teaching that we have been discussing over the last more than 30 days is to have this awareness take this awareness go all in on this awareness by bringing this into your daily life and do this wholeheartedly take this jump into pure awareness into bringing the self-awareness into bringing this consciousness wholeheartedly if you ask any successful person who has gone through a certain training they will tell you that you will have to put in your heart and by putting your heart by going wholeheartedly you'll have to cross the barriers of your mind because your mind always will try to pull you back your mind will always give you reasons why not to train that way it will create limitations in your training same applies for awareness same applies for silence same applies for meditation when you are training go wholeheartedly listen to the heart less to the mind the mind will say why are you doing this why are you putting time in meditation why are you doing that and it will constantly give you reasons to pull yourself out also in the moments of silence while you're sitting there comes a point where your mind is okay with it but afterwards your mind loses control at that time you have to go wholeheartedly you have to go all in where you have to cross the boundaries of your mind the limitations of your mind if you don't do that your mind always remain the master of your life of your being it keeps you limited it keeps you biased it keeps you always in the knowledge what you already know and life's experience remains incomplete not open to what's happening right now with that let us move into meditation into silence there's one more aspect to today's sutra which I would discuss tomorrow and for now let us move into silence please close your eyes you you sit in a posture that is comfortable with your hands in your lap or on your thighs you bring your awareness inwards to your breath to allow this awareness settle inwards in your inner space you you as you're settled in this moment with your body relaxed shift your awareness to your mind and witness observe your mind you you you you you and as you observe your mind see that your mind is constantly taking positions with thoughts with words constantly trying to create picture of the moment you you observe this process of the mind you you and as you observe your mind you see thoughts words images losing energy allowing your mind to calm down you you you you In this observation,

Notice there is empty space beyond the mind,

Beyond the boundaries of the mind.

Slowly shift the focus from the mind to the empty space around the mind,

Outside the mind.

Pour all your energy of awareness towards this empty space,

Moving wholeheartedly,

Leaving no bit of awareness anywhere else than the emptiness beyond your mind.

This emptiness has no boundaries,

It's vast.

Allow yourself to expand,

To dissolve in this emptiness beyond your mind.

Move wholeheartedly into silence,

Into awareness,

Into emptiness.

This.

" The.

.

Let yourself completely dissolve in this emptiness.

Stay in this silence,

In this awareness for as long as you like.

.

.

You may continue sitting in silent awareness or very gently and slowly you may open your eyes.

Maintaining this awareness,

Maintaining this silence and this taste of emptiness,

Of the no mind,

Of a space which is unbiased,

A space which has no knowledge,

It is only knowing.

Take this to your day and as Atishwarya is imploring again and again,

Take this to every aspect of your life.

I will see you tomorrow at 7 am Central European Time.

Namaste.
