This mindfulness practice offers a comprehensive process to the healing, clearing, and resolution of fear, limiting beliefs, and the negative emotions that they trigger. In this practice, you’ll learn how to trace any source of physical, mental, emotional, or energetic discomfort or pain back to its source where it can be permanently cleared, healed, and released. By following the emotion as it moves, changes, and transforms in your body and mind, you’re accessing the stored energy of the emotion, which includes the memories, interpretations, thoughts, emotions, and everything that was created and reacted to based on an initial experience that brought about discomfort or pain.

Who is it process meditation?

This process is based upon the teaching of Ramana Maharshi and John Jones.

It is designed to help you process and release negative emotions,

Fears and limiting beliefs of any kind.

You can begin by sitting or laying down and relaxing your body.

Closing your eyes,

Focusing on your breath,

Taking a couple of inhales and exhales,

Lengthening your exhale,

Feeling more and more relaxed as you release the stress,

Worries,

Anxieties on your exhales.

Now as you move deeper and deeper into relaxation,

Become aware of the space of your body,

Scanning your body for any place of tension,

Any place of contraction and intending to relax,

Intending for the body to become more and more relaxed.

Now bring up an emotion or a fear or a limiting belief that keeps coming up in your life,

That keeps pulling the rug from under you,

Where you're enjoying the day or your relationship or something that you're doing and all of a sudden you get triggered into negative thoughts,

Negative emotions and you don't feel so good anymore.

So it could be something like you experience sadness or anger or the fear of being rejected or the fear of being judged or criticized or limiting belief about not being able to do something,

Anything that takes away from your joy,

Your happiness and your inner peace.

And as you bring this idea,

This statement,

This feeling,

This emotion up in your system,

For instance it could be something like I can't do anything.

Notice where you feel it most in your body.

If you find that it's located in different areas of your system,

Of your body,

You can trace it while you do the technique,

Following the energy,

Following the emotion as it moves throughout the space of your body.

Oftentimes people feel that in their solar plexus or they feel that in their abdomen,

Sometimes in the pelvic floor,

The throat area,

Sometimes in their brain.

Just notice where you feel that negative emotion or fear or limiting belief and allow your consciousness,

Your awareness to follow the thought,

To follow the feeling,

Sensation,

To follow the emotion as it moves and shifts.

As you observe it,

Begin to repeat the statement.

Who is it that feels or who is it that believes or who is it that fears?

And then complete the sentence,

The statement with whatever it is that you're feeling,

That you're fearing or believing.

So for instance,

If you fear or believe that you can't do anything,

You can say,

Who is it that feels that I can't do anything and why?

And if it's even deeper for you,

If it's even more than a fear,

It's like a belief that you can't do anything.

You've revalidated to yourself that you can't do anything,

Then you can say,

Who is it that believes that I can't do anything and why?

Now as you repeat the statement over and over again,

With intention,

Focus on the emotion.

Focus on how your system reacts as you focus on the fear,

The belief or the negative emotion that you're wanting to clear and transcend.

Who is it that feels that I can't do anything and why?

Or who is it that believes that I can't do anything and why?

Continue repeating the statement either mentally to yourself or out loud,

With intention,

With emotion,

Really getting in touch with what you feel.

Now as you ask this question,

As you repeat the statement,

What you're doing is you're focusing on all the identification in your system with that statement,

With that belief,

With that feeling.

And it allows you as you focus and you focus on where the energy is stored in your body to actually liberate this energy by liberating all of the emotions,

All of the recordings,

All of the memories,

All of the feelings and associations with this experience,

With this statement.

So for instance,

If you feel or believe that you can't do anything,

All of the associated memories,

Feelings,

Emotions,

The pain,

The suffering that you have felt in regards to feeling like you couldn't do anything,

That's going to come up.

Child parts,

Maybe parent parts,

Different parts of your system that have made recordings of not being able to do anything,

I can't do anything.

Every time that you have felt that,

That you have believed that,

That you have revalidated that in your experience,

All of these would come up.

And in the process of coming up,

You're processing them out,

You're releasing them,

You're bringing up the energy that has been stored in regards to this statement,

This belief or this feeling to the surface to be released.

Oftentimes,

You continue to repeat the statement and to experience the release of energy,

You will find yourself feeling a lot more relaxed and you may have other statements that come up,

Meaning other reasons why you can't do anything.

For instance,

Maybe the statement,

I feel like I'm not good enough or feel like I'm going to fail.

Those would be associated and you can start following also those statements and repeating who is it that feels that I'm not good enough or who is it that feels that I'm going to fail and why.

And on and on,

Following the statements,

Following the memories,

Following the sensations,

The feelings in your body and continuing to bring up the energy to the light of consciousness where it can actually be processed out.

Because anything that you've recorded was an interpretation of an experience and the associated feelings and emotions were a result of those interpretations and through the light of consciousness,

When you can re-experience these things in a new way,

Meaning from your adult self instead of from a parent part or a child part,

The pain can process out and the emotional charge around the belief or the fear or the negative emotion can also release,

Giving you the capacity to transcend and release this feeling,

This emotion,

This fear or this limiting belief permanently.

Now at the end of this process,

You can ask yourself if you feel release,

If you feel like you've been able to reduce the intensity of that emotion,

Of that feeling,

Of that belief or of that fear.

And you can do that by kind of measuring how you feel compared to how you felt at the beginning of the process.

And most likely,

You will feel a difference between when you first started and how you felt about the feeling,

Emotion,

Belief or fear and the intensity that you feel after applying the process.

And over time,

As you release more and more of this energy,

You have more and more energy to apply to other things in your life that are important to you,

To a creative process of life rather than repeating and replaying out past situations,

Past interpretations,

Past emotions and continuing the pain and the suffering and the trauma that you have experienced.

So once you feel that you've made progress and you feel much better,

You can stop the process,

You can open your eyes and go on with your day feeling lighter and no longer being influenced or having a reduction in the influence of this fear or this limiting belief or this emotion on your process of life,

On your process of experiencing yourself,

Your relationships and your life and also on your process of decision making and therefore your life results.

Somehow I found myself in tears at the end of this meditation. I feel better but I didn’t think it was working because I found it very hard to focus on the exercise she was guiding me to do because she was talking the whole time which was informative but distracting from the exercise. I couldn’t listen to instructions and focus at the same time but I think if I do this again and again, I’ll feel better. Thank you 🙏
