Hey Sparkles,
My question for you today is when was the last time you opened a window?
Not just for ventilation,
But as an intentional reset.
I've noticed that when I feel stuck,
Foggy,
Or kind of creatively blocked,
It's almost always mirrored by something in my environment,
Especially the air.
Stale,
Heavy,
Or stagnant air can reflect stale energy,
And the act of just opening a window,
Lighting a candle,
Or maybe even burning a bit of sage can completely shift the vibe.
It's not just about making your space smell better,
Though that's definitely a benefit.
It's about inviting in movement,
Change,
And clarity.
We are deeply connected to the energy around us,
And the air carries that energy.
In fact,
There's a passage from one of my favorite books,
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle,
That speaks directly to this,
So let me share it with you.
All things are vibrating energy fields in ceaseless motion.
The chair you sit on,
The book you are holding in your hands,
Appear solid and motionless,
Only because that is how your senses perceive their vibrational frequency.
That is to say,
The incessant movement of the molecules,
Atoms and electrons,
And somatopic particles that together create what you perceive as a chair,
A book,
A tree,
Or a body.
What we perceive as physical matter is energy vibrating,
Or moving,
At a particular range of frequencies.
Thoughts consist of the same energy vibrating at a higher frequency than matter,
Which is why they cannot be seen or touched.
Thoughts have their own range of frequencies,
With negative thoughts at the lower end of the scale,
And positive thoughts at the higher.
So we've talked about that,
And that's what we are addressing here with this energetic residue.
Energetic residue you can't see,
But you can feel,
Right?
Here's one more quote from the book.
All things are vibrating energy.
The more consciousness flows into them,
The higher the vibrational frequency becomes.
That is why a sacred object,
Or a place of meditation,
Feels different.
It often feels lighter or clearer.
Conscious intention raises energy.
Clutter and unconsciousness lowers it.
So this quote reminds us that our physical spaces aren't neutral,
Right?
They're supporting our expansion,
Or they could be holding us back.
So let's talk about how to refresh the air and the energy in your space quickly,
Gently,
And with intention.
So I've got five ways you can do it.
First one,
Open a window for five minutes.
This is my favorite.
Even if it's just a little bit,
Just a little crack,
It can make a difference.
If you can get a cross breeze and open them on either side of the house or the space,
That can bring more movement more quickly.
But just let nature remind you what that movement air feels like.
I've described a lot recently how when I see energy in a space,
It often reminds me,
If you look at the weather maps,
When you see those,
They show air currents and they show these arrows to show the air currents.
And if you think of the air moving over your space as it moves,
Like an air current over an airplane or whatever image you're familiar with,
It has to go up and around all your furniture and all your things.
So the energy is flowing in the space too.
Not only your personal energy field or energy body,
But also the energy of the house,
Like the residue and everything.
So sometimes it gets stuck in the corners,
But more with this,
We're thinking about the movement,
Right?
And inviting that air in and helping it move helps move the energy as well.
All right.
The second one is use a natural mist or essential oil spray.
You can look for these in your local health food store or online.
Make sure it's essential oils and that it's natural.
And if it's too hot or cold,
This may be a good alternative to opening a window.
And also we've talked about it before when cleansing crystals,
There are different cleansing essential oil sprays you can use.
You can use that for the air as well,
Maybe with peppermint,
Eucalyptus,
Or lavender.
And then you can go around and refresh the space,
Spray into the corners and the doorways or where you spend time.
Again,
Thinking about that energetic residue that you're want to help change the frequency and get things moving.
The third one,
Number three is light a candle or burn herbs.
So fire has a very cleansing energy.
Try lighting a candle,
A natural soy candle or beeswax candle,
Or burning an herb like sage with mindfulness.
And of course with safety.
So number four,
Breathe intentionally.
We've done this lots of times before,
Especially if you've joined some of my online classes or sessions,
Sometimes the air that needs refreshing is within you.
So if you close your eyes and you focus on taking three slow conscious breaths,
You're going to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth,
Thinking about extending that exhale.
So I usually think about inhaling for a count of four and exhaling for a kind of six that alone can really start to shift things.
And number five,
Speak your intention aloud.
Excuse me.
As you refresh the air,
Say out loud,
I invite in clarity,
Movement and peace,
Or whatever type of energy you want to call in that frequency that you want to change,
Right?
Emotions are energy in motion.
We just from Eckhart Tolle,
We were reading how your thoughts have frequencies too.
So if you want to bring in more clarity,
Then speak that intention out loud and into the space,
The energy around you.
All right,
Sparkle.
So to recap,
If you're feeling blocked or overwhelmed,
Don't underestimate the power of the air around you.
Windows open for five minutes,
A spritz of citrus mist,
A slow intentional breath.
It can all help you come back to the present moment and the energy starts moving when you do.
And I'll leave you with this.
Sometimes the most powerful shift begins with opening a window.
Take a breath,
Let it in and trust that the air knows what to do.
Until next time,
Stay grounded,
Stay intuitive and remember your wisdom is always with you.
