Breathe in,
Filling your lungs completely,
Drawing that breath all the way down to your belly,
And exhale,
Releasing any tension your body may be holding.
One more time,
Breathe in,
Filling your belly like a balloon,
And releasing,
Exhaling that air out through your mouth.
With each breath,
Feel your body softening,
As if you're settling down a heavy weight that you no longer need to carry.
Now let your breath find its natural rhythm,
And imagine yourself standing at the edge of the ocean.
The waves rise and fall in steady rhythm,
Like your own breath.
You hear the gentle crash of the water,
And feel the soft pull as it retreats.
Inhale with the wave as it gathers,
And exhale as it rolls back into the sea.
With each breath,
Notice your body becoming more and more grounded.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your weight.
It is steady.
It is strong.
You are anchored here,
Just like the rocks beneath the ocean,
Unmoved by the tides above.
No matter what is happening around you,
You are steady and secure at your core.
As the ocean flows,
Notice how abundant it is.
Endless waves,
Endless movement,
Endless life.
The ocean never worries if it has enough.
It simply flows,
Giving and receiving,
Always in balance.
Allow that same sense of abundance to fill your heart.
Think of the many small blessings in your life.
The steady rhythm of your breath,
The beating of your heart,
The space that holds you,
The people and moments that bring you joy.
As you do this,
In the background you sense the rhythmic sound of the ocean.
The waves are steady,
Rising and falling with your breath.
Each breath connects you to this rhythm.
Each wave reminds you that life has a natural flow and you are held within it.
As you continue breathing,
Notice how your body feels supported by the surface beneath you.
Safe,
Grounded.
The ocean sound reminds you that no matter what thoughts or feelings come and go,
You are anchored here.
You are steady.
You are safe.
With every inhale,
You breathe in that calm.
And with every exhale,
You let go of any worry.
Feel yourself resting more deeply,
As though you are floating gently on the ocean itself.
The water is calm,
Warm and supportive.
You are completely safe,
Carried by something vast and eternal.
Each wave cradles you,

You are supported.

You are part of this abundant flow.
Notice how your body feels lighter.
